Creditablity Lost (Sheehan)

With each and every passing day Cindy Sheehan is looseing her creditability. Continued out burst of outrageouse accusations have her sounding like she is ready for the rubber room.

Former New York Mayor Ed Koch, a flamming liberal, admitedly so by himself even questions her creditabilty in his recent artical for the Jewish World Review.

(copy and paste following address for full articale)

http://www.jewishworldreview.com/0905/koch.php3

Here are some excerpts from his articale:

Cindy Sheehan, whose son Casey was killed in action in Iraq on April 4, 2004, has become the face of the anti-war movement in the United States. While her grief is understandable, her rhetoric is outrageous.

Many Americans, myself included, now see her as a person who has come to enjoy the celebratory status accorded to her by the radicals on the extreme left who see America as the outlaw of the world. These radicals are not content to be constructive critics. They are bent on destroying this country.

Some of them want to turn America into a radical socialist state. Others hope to create a utopia. But regardless of their agendas, how can Cindy Sheehan's supporters defend her shameful statement, "This country is not worth dying for."

Those who rail against the United States have simply failed to sell their message to the public at large. They keep losing elections, local as well as national. Rather than broadening their appeal, they have narrowed it.

I supported and still support the war in Iraq, because our Congress and President had every right to rely on the advice of the CIA that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. On Sunday, September 25, 2005, Tim Russert of Meet The Press, summed up the situation prevailing before the war, saying, "…post September 11th, there was a fear of terrorism, an inability to know whether there were weapons of mass destruction by the public or by the media. George W. Bush said there were. Bill and Hillary Clinton said there were. The Russians, French and Germans, who opposed the war, said there were. Hans Blix of the UN said there were."

Sheehan has joined those who rail against Israel, labeling Israel as the culprit with her comment, "You get America out of Iraq, you get Israel out of Palestine and the terrorism will stop." Is that why Sunni and other terrorists have intentionally killed thousands of Shia civilians, labeling them, according to al-Zarkawi, infidels? Is that why Arab fundamentalists have declared war against all Christians and Jews?

According to Wikipedia, on August 15, 2005, on the Chris Matthews Show, Sheehan said, "she would not have responded differently to her son's death had he died in Afghanistan rather than in Iraq. Sheehan argued that the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan was 'almost the same thing as the Iraq war.'" Remember, the UN Security Council authorized the invasion of Afghanistan and the war against the Taliban government.

Sheehan's personal attacks on President Bush include comments in a speech on April 27, 2005, when she said, "We are not waging a war on terror in this country. We're waging a war of terror. The biggest terrorist in the world is George W. Bush." Shameful.

According to Wikipedia, Sheehan wrote, "Casey was killed in the Global War of Terrorism waged on the world and its own citizens by the biggest terrorist outfit in the world: George and his destructive neo-con cabal."

On Monday of this week, while Sheehan and her supporters were in Washington protesting at the White House against the presence of U.S. military forces in Iraq — those forces there at the request of the democratically elected Iraqi government — according to The New York Times, "Armed men dressed as police officers burst into a primary school in a town south of Baghdad on Monday, rounded up five Shiite teachers and their driver, marched them to an empty classroom and killed them, a police official said." Sheehan believes them to be "freedom fighters."

HER LAST STATEMENT OF THUGS/PUNKS/AND TERRORISTS BEING FREEDOM FIGHTERS JUST GOES TO SHOW HOW OUT OF TOUCH SHEEHAN IS WITH REALITY AND IN DESPERATE NEED OF A REALITY CHECK. IF AMERICA IS SO BAD ACCORDING TO CINDY THEN I SAY TO HER GO TO THESE OTHER COUNTRIES AND LIVE THERE. TRY TO RUN YOUR MOUTH LIKE YOU DO HERE. WHERE THE CLOTHES YOU WEAR HERE. LETS SEE IF THESE SO CALLED FREEDOM FIGHTERS AS SHEEHAN CALLS THEM LET HER GO MERRILY ABOUT HER CONTEMPTOUSE TREASONUSE WAYS

Globalization, nuts

I pose this question to all who just rant and rave that globalization is the best thing to happen. Of coarse it for the most part is going to happen, but why rush into it now. I mean the failed United nations has shown that certain countries (France, Germany, Mexico, third world African nations) absolutely can not handle a one world government. Shoot they over half of them can not handle their own government.

Why is there such a push to make these free and open trade areas? As all the evidance and facts I have read they are far from free and fair. As America is continually taxed and punished when standards are set yet others fail to meet these standards. Point in fact NAFTA. Certain standards were in placed for the trucking industry. Well the American standards in fact yet Canada and Mexico refuse to bring their equipment up to these standards and call for it to be unfair to do so. Why is it unfair to have equipment that is set at a certain safty leval? Money? Could be but the United States literally throws millions into upgradeing these countries in order to upgrade their equipment.

FOr the flow of agricultural products. Is it to much to ask that other countries let the USDA inspect their meats for desieses and rot. What about the vegetables and the poisons used still in Mexico that we banned almost thirty years ago. Why do the globalists think its ok for Mexico to still use these pesticides and American farmers not?

With the growing economic clout from China and India, two highly populated countries who are buying automobiles is it ok for them not to have any emission controls yet here in America the tree huggers would punish the average American for fossil fuel usage. This smacks of hypicritical thinking and plain old bias.

"Rush not headlong into the darken night" I say bring the rest of the world up to the standards we used to hold. Not lower us to their standards then lets discuss a world government and globilization of economies.

Americans Concearned?

A little over a week ago my vehicale was broken into. This happened in a full parking lot at a gym. A 24 hour fitness to be exact. It happened sometime between 0630 a.m. and 0800 a.m. At a time when the morning crowd that works out is coming and going from the front doors to their cars and vis versa. Now my question is how in the hell can no one have seen anything. My vehicale wasn't jimmied but the window on the passenger door smashed. A smashing window makes noise and should have gotten someones attention. Now i know there are those out there who are smiling and saying good. He got robbed. Fine thats your opinion and cold careless hearts speaking in your selfish ways. What will you do if this happens to you. When you come out to your car and find the window smashed and items stolen.

Sure the items can all be replaced, but the aggrevation of having to get new day planners and regroup phoine numbers. Personal letters with friends. The notification of certain people that their unlisted phone numbers are now in the hands of some punk. The sentimental value that can not be replaced on items stolen. My briefcase was a gift from my parents. I LOVED THAT THING. Then all you anti gun nuts should be aware that a pistol was stolren. Before i thought that taking it into the gym was not a good thing as locker rooms are notoriouse for theft. So placeing it under the seat out of sight seemed ok. Nope!!!! Now with a lock box inplace I will not leave it in the vehicale. I am trained and licensed in the carring and use of a handgun the person who stole it more then likely is not. (personally I hope this person shoots themself with it)

Back to my main point. If I were in the parking lot and I hear a window breaking I look around and would investigate. Its called being a good citizen. I just can't comprehend how no one saw or heard anythig at all. Amazing isn't it.

I actually know it goes to the fact people do not want to get involved so they turn away. Oh it is someone elses problem , and better them then me. This attitude is what is killing this country. On topics like illegal immigration ( they arn't taking my job ...yet), the war on terrorism, the misguided abuse of so called hate crime legislation (sticks and stones you morons), to high school football.(if one child hurts themself , a knee or collerbone injury) we have to ban this.

I think people need to become more proactive, take a look around at their nieghbor hood. Be involved. If you see something wrong report it. If your neighbor needs help cleaning the gutters or taking the trash out HELP THEM. Someone on the side of the road not on a cell phone, car trouble. Stop and see if they need a lift or if they need to call for help. Maybe their tire iron is not working. Help them change the flat. The lady at the grocerie store with three kids trying to control her cart, help her out. you don't have to be a boy scout to lend an arm to an elderly person trying to cross the street.

Congressional Softballs

What is the point of having a congressional investigation when the members of the investigation refuse to ask the questions that need to be asked. When the members of the panel have made up their minds as to the outcome of this investigation before hand and play political games.

With the 9/11 commision it was so obviouse a one sided political partisain play that major questions and follow ups on events leading to the tradjic day. Ignoreing certain lines of questioning that may shed light on previouse administrations dateing back to President Carter's inept leadership.

Now lets look at the shame of an investigation on former FEMA director Brown.
He was grilled as to the response of FEMA and what happened in New Orleans. However the fact FEMA arrived 72 hours later like IT IS SUPPOSED TOO!!!!! No questions aboutr Mississippi or Alabama were asked. As a matter of fact whats happening in these states? Are they getting the needed help? The monies, supplies? Hell yes they are. What is going on is political B.S. The so called Governor of Louisanna and the Mayor of New Orleans are hogging the cameras and making a circus out of relief help.

The facts clearly show how they were negligent in their ability to warn, evacuate and lead their constituants in an emergency. With this shame of an investigation not even asking a single question of Gov. Blanco on her ineptness during this emergency goes to show my point.

She was not asked why 24 hours later she stil hadn't ordered an evacutation. She was not asked why she never called Mayor Nagin and asked him his needs. No question on the states lack of vehicals usage. Why wasn't the school busses who we have seen all the pictures of put to use. Instead they let her go on about how they need money to rebuild. Job creation. Job creation, com'on look around there are plenty of jobs now in the demolition removal and rebuilding. What jobs need to be created? I see plenty of work for people who are willing to put a little sweat and tears into hard work. Oh wait thats right I said hard work.

I'll create some jobs, give them shovels, wheel barrels, hammers, brooms there is plenty of work. No need to create some burocracy of government loafers to oversee.

Navarro strikes again
Armando Navarro lives in the La Sierra section of Corona, California. He is adding a swimming pool to his home. At a meeting of contractors, that included one of the most prestigious swimming pool builders in the area, Navarro instructed all in attendance that only Mexicans would work on his pool. That included Mexican contractors and Mexican workers.

BOY HE REALLY FAVORS AN EQUAL OPPERTUNITY IN EMPLOYMENT DOESN'T HE.

Boulder Reality???

Once again the good hearted liberals of Boulder Colorado think with their hearts and not with any gray matter what so ever.

These excellant points are made at the end of the following articale:

Punishing hate, helping victims is but half the battle

Thursday, September 22, 2005 8:55 PM MDT

http://coloradodaily.com/articles/2005/09/22/opinion/our_take/ourtake1.txt

If a person expresses strong opposition to what he or she might term "illegal immigration," is that "hate speech?"

If a person expresses strong disdain for affirmative action, is that "racist" speech?

If a person, in a moment of anger, utters something another person deems racially insensitive, is that an act of racism in the same as, say, a racist flyer being anonymously placed in a hallway? Is it "hate speech?" Is it a crime? Should the police investigate?

Such questions are not farfetched, but basic. We have heard from members of the CU and Boulder communities over the last decade who have claimed in our pages that any arguments against affirmative action are racist on their face; that people of color cannot "by definition" be racist themselves and that expressed moral/religious objections to homosexuality constitute hate speech.

Even if we all agree on what hate speech is, ugly ideas and people aren't going to go away or be silenced because hate speech/hate crime ordinances are on the books. The prospect of tying up city time, money and resources to investigate every racist remark, slur or racially charged incident makes the city merely speech/thought police, not a true guarantor of diversity.

But in a larger sense, focusing on the subjective, elusive goal of making sure everyone in Boulder "feels safe" from hate speech seems pale when measured against what could be achieved by creating, strengthening and ensuring actual diversity in town and, in the process, launching an unstoppable force of true empowerment for citizens of all colors.

THESE FEEL GOOD DOGOODERS ARE SO OUT OF TOUCH WITH REALITY THAT THEY FAIL TO SEE WHAT THEY WANT TO IMPOSE IS PURE AND SIMPLE CENSORSHIP. AN ENDRUN ON THE 1ST ADMENDMENT. THE QUESTION POSED IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THEIR POLITICAL VIEW WILL YOU THEN BE JUDGED AS SPEWING FORTH HATE SPEACH HAS TO BE CALLED TO THE TABLE. RUNNING TO THE BOTTOM LINE THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT THE ENLIGHTEND INTELLECTUAL THINKERS OF FACISM IN BOUOLDER WANT. ONE SOCIETY THAT THINKS, ACTS, AND TALKS AS THEY ARE TOLD TO BY LIBERAL WACKO'S IN BOULDER. IF THIS ACTUALLY GETS PASSED THE OLD SAYING OF STICKS AND STONES WILL BREAK MY BONES BUT NAMES WILL NEVER HURT ME HAS TO BE REWRITEN TO STICKS AND STONES ARE ILLEGAL AND NAMES WILL HURT ME.
ANY SPEACH NOT OBIEDIANT TO THE LIBERALS IS GOING TO PUT ME IN JAIL!

BOULDER NEEDS TO COME BACK INTO THE REAL WORLD. THE UTOPIAN CONCEPT OF ONE WORLD ONE NATION, WHITES ARE BAD AND EVERYONE ELSE IS OPPRESSED HAS TO BE CLEANSED FROM THE THINKING NATURE OF THESE MORONS. PEOPLE ARE PEOPLE NO MATTER WHAT ETHNITICITY THEY ARE OR RELIGION. GOOD, BAD EXISITS IN ALL RACES. IT IS THE BAD WE NEED TO FOCUS ON. IT IS TIME TO STOP MAKING UP BOGUS FEEL GOOD LAWS AND ENFORCE THOSE ON THE BOOKS. HATE CRIME LEGISLATION IS ABSURD. A CRIME IS A CRIME. IT DOES NOT MATTER IF A WHITE KILLS A BLACK OR A BLACK KILLS A WHITE IT IS MURDER PERIOD! AND MURDERERS NEED TO BE PUNISHED. TO TELL ME IT IS A HATE CRIME IF ONE RACE KILLS ANOTHER OVER A RACE KILLING A RACE IS STUPIDITY PERSONIFIED IN SELF RIGHTOUSE B.S. AGAIN I SAY CRIME IS CRIME PUNISH THOSE WHO ARE GUILTY NOT REHAB THEM TILL THEY FOOL US INTO RELEASING THEM TO COMMITE THE SAME CRIME AGAIN.

Enviormental Hogwash

Hmmm, without being too sarcastic letsa take a look at all the extremist enviormental views that are floating out about the hurricanes striking the gulf coast. For intellectual enlightened thinkers claiming to be scientific researchers is astonishingly absurd. Green house gases created by man and fueled by the non signature on the Kyoto accord is all President Bushes fault. Yeah right, my pimply hairy white butt!

This is the most absurd , ludicris statements made todate. They seem to ignore the fact that only 12,000 to 15,000 years ago we were in an ice age. This means that giant glaciers were all the way from Canada to the upper midwestern/central states. Before this geological evidance shows that Colorado was a tropical zone.

Colorado a tropical zone, what did the Dinasours get a little radical with Fred Flintstone on their fuels usage to create a carbon effect that increased the Earths temperatures? How can this be if man was not around to abuse the earth with his usage of fossil fuels. Dinasours weren't dead yet to help create fossil fuels. How could the earths average temperature by a little warmer then it is today? These facts are ignored by the tree hugging green first crowd. Yet all evidance in geological time would suggest that perhaps the earth does a cyclic effect on temperatures.

The sun goes through patterns of solar flares every year and in certain times we know that this solar flare activity not only effects communications but has an effect on summer temperatures as well. Again your radical intellectual enlightened thinkers do not look at these facts. They would much rather have you believe that the SUV you drive is makeing the earth warmer while the one they drive does not. (Note as I said the suv's they drive do not effect the global temperatures.) This brings me to the next assine thing they do. How often do you drive into Boulder Colorado and see earth green , or love earth bumper stickers on some 1960's volvo that is pukeing out massive amounts of emmisions. You know would never pass a smog test. While this peacenik is listening to Al( I am a complete moron)Frankin complain on how President Bushes refusal to sign a treaty that would do absolutely nothing to help control global warming, and only raid our already empty tax paying pockets. Is the leading cause of natural disasters.

Anyone out there recall how a subsurface oceanic earthquake causeing a massive tsunammi was blammed on global warming as well. HOGWASH!!! Just like these powerful hurricanes it is part of a cycle that the earth goes through and we as inhabitants on this planet have to ride out ( ride out the storm people).

Just like people grow old and die, a cycle of life. The earth does the same as it rotates in this cosmic enviorment around the little blob called Sol (the sun for your edification) Our rotation pattern wobbles just a bit and when this happens we get closer or a little further away. Wow this causes the earth to heat up or cool down.

Now I am not saying we need to ignore pollution. BUT COM'ON, lets get a grip on reality. When the earth enters its next ice age what will the enlightened intellectual thinkers blame this on. The cold hearted conservatives bringing down the earths temp by not careing enough?

Brown Berets a THREAT

The self proclaimed militant group formed in the 1960's calling themselves the Brown Berets are acting up yet again. In a clear sign of racisim and anti American fever they plan what they call a nonviolent protest against the Minutemen action in Texas. Following their past and current actions peaceful demonstrations on the part of these ANTIAMERICAN thugs clearly means threats, intimidation and assualt against American citizens who do not share their view of a Atzlan mythical country located in the American west.

A vast movement of a self governing yet leaching off American money country that never exisited in history but is being told to exisits in our schools by noneducated educaters and radicals. has become a clear and present danger to the security of ALL AMERICANS black, white , oriental and hispanic. Americans who believe in America and the true role of freedom not the leaching off of hard working tax payers are being terrorised by latino and mexican THUGS! With the false claim of racism being charged against the minutemen it is clear with further statments by the brown berets that they are clearly the racists.

A prime example can be shown with the parrell of what Jesse Jackson and Louis Farakahan charge against other blacks who have busted their chops to achieve and better themselves. The calling of Uncle Tom's and sellouts is being thrown around by
Pablo Delgado against the hispanic leader of the Texas Minutemen Al Garza. With this staement deny the racist leanings of Delgado:

"And a message to Al Garza or Ed Garza, I don't know his name. I think that he does not know where he comes from," Delgado said. "We the Brown Beret organization do not recognize him as a Hispanic or as a Mexicano. To us, he is nothing."

See the comment "I don't think he knows where he comes from". What pig headed racist crap is this. Because The leader of the Texas minutemen is hispanic and PROAMERICAN he now does not know where he comes from. Seems to me he does know and it is clear HE IS AMERICAN FIRST, hispanic second.

"We do not promote violence," Delgado said. "We're here to monitor to defend the people. But if push comes to shove, we're ready."
IF THEY ARE NOT TO PROMOTE VIOLENCE THEN WHY ARE THE BROWN BERET STORM TROOPERS BURNING THE AMERICAN FLAG AND ATTACKING CALIFORNIAN CITIZENS WHO WANT ILLEGALS DEPORTED. THERE IS PLENTY OF PICTURES AND FILM OF THESE THUGS ASSUALTING PEOPLE INCLUDEING SENIOR CITIZENS OUTSIDE AN AMERICAN LEGION IN SANDIEGO.

In the 60's, the brown storm trooper berets claimed they werre after equal rights and monies for illegals who did not contribute to society. This is still the behind the scene call going on now. Take that from the haves and keep for ourselves. I question what will they do should they achieve their goal of creating this MYTHICAL country of Aztlan? Traditionally and still today the Mexican government is run by crooks and what one could say Louisianna politicians who are crooked as the day is long. The same is for those who want power and control now. They are crooked and thieves themselves. Not looking for a better way of life that they have right in front of their eyes as AMERICAN LEGAL CITIZENS. All these thugs want is to create a nation from mythical illusionary facts prop up a dictatorship that is racist to any and all who are not hispanic and sponge what ever they can force America to fork over to their laziness.

I SEND A CLEAR AND DIRECT MESSAGE TO THESE SO CALLED HISPANIC WANNABE PATRIOTS. THE TEXJONES WHO FAUGHT AND DIED AT THE ALAMO, AND THOSE WHO BRAVELY SERVED IN THE AMERICAN ARMED FORCES DID SO NOT FOR YOU AND YOUR PATHETIC FANTASIES. IF YOU DO NOT LIKE THE WAY MEXICO IS GOVERNED THEN DO NOT RECREATE THAT GOVERNMENT HERE IN AMERICA. LOVE AMERICA OR GET THE HELL OUT. WE DO NOT NEED YOUR PATHETIC LIES AND DISTORTED FACTS!

WE ARE AMERICANS, BLACK , WHITE, ORIENTAL, NATIVE, AND HISPANIC, NOT SOME PATHETIC GROUP OF THIEVES, THUGS, DEGENERATE CHILD MOLESTERS, AND TERRORISTS.

WE ARE A MELTING POT THAT CREATED THE GREATEST NATION ON EARTH, NOT A CRUCIBLE USED TO SEPERATE AND DIVIDE.

Coeercion and the Pledge

U.S. District Judge Lawrence Karlton ruled that the pledge's reference to one nation "under God" violates school children's right to be "free from a coercive requirement to affirm God."
Karlton said he was bound by precedent of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, which in 2002 ruled in favor of Sacramento atheist Michael Newdow that the pledge is unconstitutional when recited in public schools.

The Supreme Court dismissed the case last year, saying Newdow lacked standing because he did not have custody of his elementary school daughter he sued on behalf of.

Newdow, an attorney and a medical doctor, filed an identical case on behalf of three unnamed parents and their children. Karlton said those families have the right to sue.

Karlton, ruling in Sacramento, said he would sign a restraining order preventing the recitation of the pledge at the Elk Grove Unified, Rio Linda and Elverta Joint Elementary school districts, where the plaintiffs' children attend.

The decision sets up another showdown over the pledge in schools.

NOTE KARLTON IS QUOTED AS SAYING THAT THE PLEDGE CREATES A ATMOSPHERE OF COERCION ON THE STUDENTS AND THEREFORE IS ILLEGAL. MY QUESTION TO THIS ASTUTE ENLIGHTENED MIND OF PROGRESSIVE THINKING IS IF SAYING "UNDER GOD" THEN WHY IS NOT THE FORCED STUDIES OF MUSLIM RAMADAN NOT COERCION OF THE STUDENTS? TELLING THE STUDENTS IN CALIFORNIA WHO ARE CHRISTIAN THAT THEY HAVE TO PARTICIPATE (WELL FORCED TO PARTICIPATE OR ELSE SUFFER LOWER GRADES DUE TO LACK OF PARTICIPATION) IS NOT COERCION.

WHENTHE STUDENTS HAVE TO PRACTICE MUSLUM PRACTICES DURING THIS MONTH BY DRESSING UP AND PRETENDING TO PRAY TO MECCA, THEN FASTING DURING SCHOOL HOURS THIS ISNT COERCION? WHERE IS THE ACLU AND WHY ISN'T THIS PUTZ NEWDOW ALL OVER THIS?

WELL I WILL TELL YOU WHY BECAUSE IT DOES NOT SUITE THEIR ANTI AMERICAN ADGENDA TO DO SO. BY MISREPRESETING THE 1ST ADMENDMENT OF THE CONSTITUTION AND DISTORTING ITS MEANING THEY CAN BREAK DOWN OUR CIVIL RIGHTS. THIS ALLOWS THEM A STEP CLOSER TO THEIR PROGRESSIVE (REALLY A LACK OF TOLERANCE) IDEOLOG.

THIS IS A PRIME EXAMPLE OF WHY WE MUST GET A CONSTITUTIONALIST ON THE UNITED STATES SUPREME COURT AND BRING THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM BACK T THE MAINSTREAM OF THINIKNG.FOR FAR TO LONG THIS COUNTRY HAS MOVED TO THE LEFT IN ITS THINKING AND POLOCIES. JUDICIAL ACTIVISM FROM THE COURTS IS RAMPENT AND TOTALLY OUT OF HAND.

Murderer still at large

The murderer known as Garcia Gomez, who executed one Denver Police officer and wounded another is still at large and being protected by the Mexican governmnet. With the death penalty removed and a life sentance taken off the tasble in the pursuit of justice (a slap ion the face of decent law bidding citizens) this thug still remains in Mexico. No word from Mexican officials on when or even if they will extradite this murdering punk.

The Mayor (or should say lack there of) in Denver has made no move to force the Mexican government to release this criminal to American officials as of yet. When will we the people of Colorado get a shot at justice? This is the question.

Mexico and Katrina aid

In the after math of Hurricane Katrina, Vincente Fox's first conversation with our government was not need any help but keep giving us aid in your time of need. With a plea for ILLEGAL ALIENS to not be harrassed by immigratrion officials, and a continued abuse of our welfare and social service system was all Fox was concerned by.

His pleas go answered as the current administration, in my opinion makes the biggest blunder of the recovery process. A suspension of the Bacon Davis wage act/law.

The Davis Bacon Act has been suspended temporarily in the affected areas. This means that federal contractors there can lower their wages below the prevailing wages for such work. (Note that those counties where the Act has been suspended include three in south Florida: Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe).

According to the AP, "U.S. officials have suspended for 45 days a requirement that employers check workers' identification." Some of the hurricane victims might have lost their ID but, especially because that quote appears in an article about illegal aliens, the main beneficiaries of this policy would seem to be illegal aliens.

According to Vicente Fox, illegal aliens who seek hurricane assistance from the U.S. will not be "subject to any pressure or persecution". (The link in #2 says the administration has not confirmed that however.) The League of United Latin American Citizens is working with the Mexican government to get the word out about the benefits available to illegal aliens who were impacted. Mexico has also set up mobile consulates in the affected areas.

With close to 400,000 people unemployed due to Katrina, the bold act of suspending identification requirments and lowering of wage restrictions does anyone else but me notice a flow of ILLEGALS now heading to Loiusianna? When the people of the gulf coast need to get on their feet and rebuild we are going to subcontract this out to ILLEGAL who will sponge off the system and keep Americans Unemployed by undercutting any bids on construction.

This is soooo wrong in sooo many ways. Why does this country bend over backwards for Illegals. We sure as hell didnt for the Irish when they came, or the Chinese. So why are we for the Hispanics who come here?

Peaceniks WAKE UP

On this day, (4)four years ago we were brutally attacked. A massive strike against innocent victems was launched by a group of thugs/punks/criminal/religiouse zelots.
Some on the left like to take the side of these terrorists by claiming American Imperilalism is to blame. Imperialism my pimply white butt. In American history we have never forced imperialism onto other nations. Sure you can argue the westward movement in the early 1800's, some like to claim the Mexican American war is imperialism. Well guess what .......WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!

The American policy of support for a soverign Nation of Isreal is not, and I say AGAIN NOT IMPERIALISM. What we remember today is the MURDER of over three thousand (3000) innocent victems of a ruthless represive religion full of zelots and madmen.Four years ago today planes were highjacked ... that means forcebaly taken .... then used as bombs against innocents while they were at work.

The threat remains today more dangerouse then before as we showed the world what happens when you piss us off. With congress and the American people initially backing the military actions in Afgahnistan we removed an oppressive regime and struck back a blow that these terrorists still are trying to recover from. In a matter of a few months we did what the Soviet Union in over ten years could not ocomplish. As B-2 bombers and B-52's droped daisy cutters ( a 1500 to 2000 pound bombs) newly designed bunker busters (bombs with penetration aspects). We sent the jihadists in to full retreat.

Now newly released in Los Angelas comes another threat of violance against innocents. Lets look at a certain passage from the 11 minute diatribe of propaganda from back stabbing lurkers of the night.

ABC has released this tape from an American
http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/Investigation/story?id=1115448&page=1

"Yesterday, London and Madrid. Tomorrow, Los Angeles and Melbourne, God willing. At this time, don't count on us demonstrating restraint or compassion," the tape warns. "We are Muslims. We love peace, but peace on our terms, peace as laid down by Islam, not the so-called peace of occupiers and dictators."

Notice how they/he says by Islam standards, our terms. Then calls the United States and Great Britian occupiers and Dictaters. How ironis when you look at the way Islam countries are ruled with iron fists and total lack of say by and for the people. The claim of we love peace is absurd as anyone with access to a public library can clearly research the lack of peace practiced in history by Islamic regimes.

The threat is real folks and it is coming to America. All I can do is keep warning you and provide you with information that is right in front of you. CONNECT the dots readers. The terrorists do not accept christianity , nor tolerate atheism. The adage of turn the other cheek will not work with these madmen. We have to remeber the golden rule ..."Do unto others as you would do unto them". Well they have done and plan to do to us, we need to be ready to strike back , hard, viciousely, and decisivly. To use the Qu'ruans own phrases ... "An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth".

I say if you hit me, I am going to get a stick and hit you back. You stab me and I am going to shoot you. If you assault or hurt my family, well i can not describe how viciouse and mean, the pain and suffering I will inflict upon you and your family. So leave me alone.

If you can't stand the heat of the fire then get out of the kitchen Ahkmed!

Put up Or Shut up

While the usual suspects on the left are screaming racism, lack of leadership and the typical rhetoric of how global warming (a myth) is President Bushes fault for causeing Katrina to strike the gulf coast. Not one of them has really come forth to aid in the relief effort.

Nancy Pelosi is backing away strongly, and devisivly on keeping democrates from participating in a bi partisan committe to look at the relief efforts into Katrina (more stone walling by liberals). Her claim that the committe will be a shame and republican p.r. machine. HMmmm wasn't that exactly as it is turning out the 9/11 commision was .... a democratic blame machine that did not look at the truth but political baiting on the republicans?

Here is a partial list of those who are stepping up to the plate and doing some real aid relief:

Leading the charge is the nation's most listened to radio host, Rush Limbaugh.
NewsMax first reported that Limbaugh is taking his show to Broadway to raise money for Hurricane Katrina relief.

But don't rush out to get tickets – the one-man, one-night performance sold out within 20 minutes after he announced it on his radio show.

Rush will appear on Broadway on the night of October 18 at the New Amsterdam Theater, where "The Lion King" is playing.

"We're doing this to promote Hurricane Katrina relief and to fund it," Rush told listeners during his Tuesday radio show.

"I do this sparingly these days, ladies and gentlemen. Sort of like the old Rush to Excellence Tour that we used to do.

"It's about an hour and a half to two hours. It goes until I decide I've said enough, and when I feel like it's over. It's just going to be a great night, a fun night, Rush on Broadway."

Rush also had a laugh: "We're especially thrilled to be superseding ‘The Lion King' for one night. The animal rights people are going to be upset about this, no question about it."

For sure, most of the nation's hosts, who reach an estimated 60 million Americans each week, are urging help for disaster relief agencies like the Red Cross, Salvation Army and Operation Blessing. Many hosts' web sites offer links for their listeners to put them in touch with these groups.

NewsMax sampled some of the major hosts around the nation and here's what we found:

Quinn and Rose of WRRK in Pittsburgh reported to NewsMax that, with the help of Clear Channel Communications, they were able to put together a Plan for Relief for Katrina Victims.

They're even organizing a convoy (trucks, trailers, RVs, etc.) to Mississippi and joining up with the Arkansas Southern Baptist Convention, which is feeding 60,000 people a day, working with the Red Cross.

Jim Quinn says his show broadcasts from the "war room." We're changing that to the "mobile war room."

Mike Gallagher of the Salem Network and regular Fox News guest says his loyal listeners, "Gallagher's Army," are diving in to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

"The Mike Gallagher Show" is once again partnering with Feed the Children, a Christian international nonprofit relief organization, to deliver food, medicine, clothing and other necessities to those who are suffering, all under the direction of FEMA. Call 1-888-58-CHILD right now to make your contribution.

Also, Mike's show, as part of a network-wide effort through Salem Radio Network and the Salem-owned and operated radio stations, partnered with FTC in order to raise money to deliver needed items to the Gulf Coast.

All the Salem network talk shows appealed to listeners for donations; in a span of a few days, that yielded incredible results. In addition, Gallagher is scheduled to travel to New Orleans this weekend to assist a group called "Pets in Peril" (www.petsinperil.com) in recovering companion animals that were left behind during the disaster. Mike plans on airing the recovery efforts on his radio show.

Roger Hedgecock, San Diego's former mayor and the city's leading radio host on KOGO, is "holding a day-long fund drive to help our neighbors, 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. Our goal: 'A TON OF CASH' to help our neighbors. We're gonna try and get you a free breakfast, lunch or box supper. Live music. A hoopla to encourage you to do the handshake across America!" Wednesday, September 7 at Qualcomm Stadium, San Diego.

In Knoxville, Tenn, Hallerin Hill of WNOX told NewsMax, "Our morning news anchor, radio veteran Dave Foulk, led a convoy of eight tractor trailers loaded with water for Louisiana." You can go to his blog, which chronicles the story at www.davefoulk.blog.com.

Blogger at large Hugh Hewitt from Southern California's KKOL and the Salem Radio Network has on his site a special Hurricane Katrina Blog for Relief Weekend. You can check it out at www.truthlaidbear.com/katrinarelief.php.

Hewitt's colleague, Dennis Prager of KRLA urges you to share your home with someone made homeless by Hurricane Katrina. Give your name to Dennis and join him in helping Hurricane Katrina victims. Go to www.feedthechildren.org or call 888-58-CHILD.

Rusty Humphries from the Talk Radio Network (TRN) is asking all of us to lend a financial hand to our fellow Americans who have suffered tremendous loss after Hurricane Katrina.

Rusty's favorite: "The fine folks at The Salvation Army are among the finest around at helping folks out so please donate what you can today."

Laura Ingraham from TRN is asking us to connect evacuees with jobs. Mercy Corps is engaged in a historic response to help find work for Katrina victims. Check out Mercy Corps at her site: www.lauraingraham.com

Also at TRN, Tammy Bruce, a NewsMax.com Pundit and one of LA's top talkers, particularly likes this effort and asks that you go to http://asmallvictory.net/katrina.html and help the Kids of Katrina Donations/Goods Drive, as well as The Humane Society of the U.S. at https://secure.hsus.org/01/disaster_relief_fund_2005?.

Proving Texas has a big heart, Adam McManus of KSLR's "Take a Stand" in San Antonio tells us he's raised $50,000 since last week for Feed the Children.

McManus adds: "Every $280 donation pays for the transportation of 2,000 pounds or 1 ton of supplies including ready-to-eat meals, snacks, baby food and diapers, bottled water and blankets. That brings our grand total to 178 tons of supplies delivered to those who most needed them throughout the Gulf Coast in the name of Jesus Christ. Plus, I am encouraging the 5,200 people on my daily e-mail alert list to consider opening their homes to some evacuees through http://www.shareyourhome.org.

And finally, I'm encouraging my listeners to personally bring supplies and a listening ear to the thousands of evacuees who are being housed here at KellyUSA, our former military base."

Relevant Radio out of Green Bay, Wis., told NewsMax that through their programming and Web site they have promoted and encouraged their listeners to give to Catholic Charities. To help communities recover from the damage brought by Hurricane Katrina, Catholic Charities USA is collecting financial donations that will fund local agencies' emergency and long-term disaster recovery efforts.

Bob Newman of KOA in Denver is holding federal officials accountable. He has on his show Wednesday Butch Kinerney, spokesperson for FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency), and Russ Knocke, spokesperson for the Department of Homeland Security.

Joining the brigades of volunteers is Mark Shannon from WKY in Oklahoma City. Mark tells NewsMax, "Volunteers? We've got plenty of them!" The cry went out for volunteers to help at the Astrodome, Falls Creek, and a number of other "refugee sites" for those forced to leave New Orleans. In Oklahoma, they had to turn volunteers away from the Falls Creek facility.

Martha Zoller of WDUN in Atlanta told NewsMax that in conjunction with Lakewood Baptist Church, they collected items for the Gulf Coast area of Mississippi. Two tractor trailers will deliver the items in the next couple of days to a mission group that is already in the area. The next trailers will be filled and delivered to New Orleans.

Darrell Ankarlo announced KLIF's Dallas, Texas, Susquehanna Katrina Relief Drive - http://www.klif.com/katrina/index.htm. Today from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. KLIF will be at the Salvation Army Disaster Center at 9216 Harry Hines at Shorecrest in Dallas. Ankarlo and Greg Knapp will be on site to kick off an effort to bring relief to those affected. All KLIF listeners are encouraged to donate bulk food, water and clothing.

Lars Larson of Westwood One told NewsMax: "We cobbled up a quick fundraiser for The Salvation Army on Friday, and by Saturday morning, the money raised had topped $100k. And Lars plans to be at the Salvation Army HQ in Portland, Ore., today!

Bill Fishburne, morning host of WZNN in Asheville, N.C., says they put together a one-day telethon for a local Christian charity, Hearts with Hands. They dispatched several tractor trailer loads of supplies, plus volunteers, on Friday. Under the leadership of WZNN's Brian O'Brian and Josh Wylkie, the 10,000-watt AM station raised $11,000 in one day!

Bob Enyart at KGOV in Denver announced "Our Katrina Relief Update. While our telethon is crucial for the survival of Bob Enyart Live, at the same time so many people and families desperately need help to recover from Hurricane Katrina. So we are determined to help our friends hurt by this natural disaster, even as we look to others to help BEL!

"On the radio show, you've heard us announce specific needs for two families. Here is an update and also a request to help us find other families among our friends who need housing: www.kgov.com."

These are just some of the good deeds hosts across America are doing for their fellow citizens. Our hats are off to them.

Something to think deeply about

As one looks at the caos and blame game being played out in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, one had best sit back and reflect then deeply think about what is happening and will happen to society here in the United States. Any person with half a wit knows that the Islamofacists are sitting there taking note on the actions of certain individuals and groups in Louisianna.

Wondering howe much more caos can be created by a simple act. If the frame of societal behaviior falls apart so easily under a natural disaster what would happen under the influence of a terrorist act? The leftist liberals want to excuse robbery and violance as a means of survival. The have nots finnaly getting something for nothing (the truth far from the reality here, as many have it better off sitting on government hand outs).

Should a terrorist act of a major proportion accure what will society do? Will we all break down into this new phenomonem of tribal orders as what is being dubbed the looters in New Orleans. Will groups arise to shoot others because they have television? Or will the fabric of what made this country better then the rest pull people together in a time of need to help their fellow man.

Great acts or mercy andf heroism are being played out on a minute by minute basis in this aftermath however we see cameras locked onto looters and the dregs of society. Base liars step forth with concocted stories of racism and unfounded cruelty with out evidance or truth behind the claims. The media and the left eat this up. So do the terrorist. As so called do gooders like Ophra make acusations unfounded and lie about what has happened to the general public on talking points spun in favor of her and like minded agendists. Do not the terrorists write this down and sceme on new plans of hurting this country?

With pamphlets circulating in Los Angelas calling for the bloods and crypts to unite with the Nuslim church and attack the authorities, (not supported by the muslim church buy the way as documented in the public statement released by masque #27 and their Leader with support from Louis Farrakahn).
Does this not make one wonder deeply how their own neighbor will react. Will they come to your aid? Will you go to their aid? Does one have to start stock pilling supplies or food water and ammunition now?

With known predators in our own society like drug pushers, molesters, common thieves act up as they have in New Orleans and try to pillage your neighborhood in the aftermath of a disaster or attack. Will your neighborhood defend itself first then aid others? Or will it aid only themselves.

Has America today become so diverse that it no longer pulls together in times of trouble to help and rebuild. Or because of this diversity it no longer understands one another?

Despite the rosey picture that the media is selling the public. People are pulling tiogether and aiding their fellow man. Millions of dollars have been raised, jobs found and familes reunited. Medical assistance given freely to those in need. Heroric rescues done, long thankless hours of cleanup beginning. No America is still the best country in the World, however we do have a few rotten apples that are trying real hard to spoil the barrel.

Insulting Aid

As previouse blogged this morning I spoke of Bangladesh stepping up to the plate and making a real offer of aid. I forgot to mention Frances offer of One Thousand cots for the displaced. 1 thousand cots, hmmm. Thats a big offering there. I bet you my next three paychecks that the boyscouts of America could come up with a thousand plus cots in faster time and have them in shelters long before the french cots can get shipped here.

HEY FRANCE DON'T GET UP FROM THE TABLE AND MISS SHOVEING SOME PASTRIES IN YOUR MOUTHS TO OFFER ANY AID OK!

An act of Kindness repayed

Back in 1991, while returning home from our little foray in Kuwait. I was on the USS Juneuno. We were steaming back to the Philippines for a little r and r. Thats when a terrible natural disaster struck. How many people recall the Tsunammi that hit the little country of Bangladesh. This country was desimated by a tidal wave that swept tankers and cargo ships miles inland. I recall riding in a Blackhawk chopper taking food and medicines to small villages miles inland that were still flooded. The people in Bangladesh were grateful and worked hard trying to rebuild their lives after this disaster.
I recall a satement made by their leader at the time as well. He said we need help in aid. As we put military enginers on shore and combat troops acting as workers to move, rescue and provide this aid their leader, grateful also said that as a poor country they needed the money to rebuild. Our people were appreciated most dearly but it was the money they needed. We provided this to this country in good faith then the majority of us were to leave as advisors were left behind to aid in supervision of rebuilding Bangladesh.

Now 14 years later this little country , poor and not much of a player in the big picture of things steps up to the plate and says:

WASHINGTON - Bangladesh Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia M.P. today made an announcement of donating $1 million towards the Hurricane victims in the United States.

She noted that the people and the Government of Bangladesh will stand by for extending any help and support which includes sending of military personnel, construction engineers for reconstruction work and medical team for mitigating the suffering of the hurricane affected people of the three states of Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! HERE IS A LITTLE COUNTRY WERE A MILLION DOLLARS IS A HUGE PORTION TO THEIR NATIONAL INCOME STEPPING TO THE PLATE, BRINGING A TEAR TO MY EYES AND A WARM FUZZY FEELING TO MY HEART. OFFERING ASSISTANCE AND AID. A MILLION DOLLARS IS NOT MUCH TO AMERICA, ESPECIALLY TO THE LEFT COAST WHO SOME STARS HAVE DONATED WELL OVER THIS MUCH FROM THEIR PERSONAL STASHES .... OPRAH WITH A 5 MILL DONATION FOR EXAMPLE.

WHAT OTHER NATIONS HAVE STEPPED UP LIKE THIS. I CAN NOT FIND ANY WHO HAVE MADE A PLEDGE OR EVEN REMEMBERED AMERICAN GENEROSITY TO THIS POINT AS BANGLADESH HAS.SURE SOME OTHER COUNTRIES HAVE OFFERED AND MADE AID OFFERINGS. JAPAN TO DONATE(READ THE WORD CAREFUL .. DONATE) 12% OF FUEL SUPPLIES FOR THE TIME TO OFFSET OUR SHORTAGE (THANKYOU JAPAN)

EUROPE WILL SEND FUEL BUT THEY HAVE STRINGS ATTACHED ... THATS NOT AID ITS A LIGHT FORM OF BLACKMAIL FROM FRANCE.

WHERE IS CANADA AND WHERE IS MEXICO IN THEIR OFFERS OF HELP? CANADA SITS SILENT AND MEXICO BEGS US TO MAKE SURE THAT ILLEGAL INVADERS ARE ALLOWED AID AND GOVERNMENT BENIFITS (LIKE THEY DON'T ALREADY GET THEM).

BOTTOM LINE IS BAGLADESH REMEMBERED OUR AID AND NOW THEY OFFER WHAT THEY HAVE. NO STRINGS. WHAT A WONDERFUL FEELING TO KNOW SOMEONE REMEMBERS AN ACT OF KINDNESS!!!!

New Orleans

A VERY COMPELLING ARTICALE WRITEN BY SOMEONE WHO KNOWS AND LIVES IN NEW ORLEANS. PLEASE READ ANNE RICE'S WORDS AND THINK. I HAVE.

September 4, 2005
Do You Know What It Means to Lose New Orleans?
By ANNE RICE
La Jolla, Calif.

WHAT do people really know about New Orleans?

Do they take away with them an awareness that it has always been not only a great white metropolis but also a great black city, a city where African-Americans have come together again and again to form the strongest African-American culture in the land?

The first literary magazine ever published in Louisiana was the work of black men, French-speaking poets and writers who brought together their work in three issues of a little book called L'Album Littéraire. That was in the 1840's, and by that time the city had a prosperous class of free black artisans, sculptors, businessmen, property owners, skilled laborers in all fields. Thousands of slaves lived on their own in the city, too, making a living at various jobs, and sending home a few dollars to their owners in the country at the end of the month.

This is not to diminish the horror of the slave market in the middle of the famous St. Louis Hotel, or the injustice of the slave labor on plantations from one end of the state to the other. It is merely to say that it was never all "have or have not" in this strange and beautiful city.

Later in the 19th century, as the Irish immigrants poured in by the thousands, filling the holds of ships that had emptied their cargoes of cotton in Liverpool, and as the German and Italian immigrants soon followed, a vital and complex culture emerged. Huge churches went up to serve the great faith of the city's European-born Catholics; convents and schools and orphanages were built for the newly arrived and the struggling; the city expanded in all directions with new neighborhoods of large, graceful houses, or areas of more humble cottages, even the smallest of which, with their floor-length shutters and deep-pitched roofs, possessed an undeniable Caribbean charm.

Through this all, black culture never declined in Louisiana. In fact, New Orleans became home to blacks in a way, perhaps, that few other American cities have ever been. Dillard University and Xavier University became two of the most outstanding black colleges in America; and once the battles of desegregation had been won, black New Orleanians entered all levels of life, building a visible middle class that is absent in far too many Western and Northern American cities to this day.

The influence of blacks on the music of the city and the nation is too immense and too well known to be described. It was black musicians coming down to New Orleans for work who nicknamed the city "the Big Easy" because it was a place where they could always find a job. But it's not fair to the nature of New Orleans to think of jazz and the blues as the poor man's music, or the music of the oppressed.

Something else was going on in New Orleans. The living was good there. The clock ticked more slowly; people laughed more easily; people kissed; people loved; there was joy.

Which is why so many New Orleanians, black and white, never went north. They didn't want to leave a place where they felt at home in neighborhoods that dated back centuries; they didn't want to leave families whose rounds of weddings, births and funerals had become the fabric of their lives. They didn't want to leave a city where tolerance had always been able to outweigh prejudice, where patience had always been able to outweigh rage. They didn't want to leave a place that was theirs.

And so New Orleans prospered, slowly, unevenly, but surely - home to Protestants and Catholics, including the Irish parading through the old neighborhood on St. Patrick's Day as they hand out cabbages and potatoes and onions to the eager crowds; including the Italians, with their lavish St. Joseph's altars spread out with cakes and cookies in homes and restaurants and churches every March; including the uptown traditionalists who seek to preserve the peace and beauty of the Garden District; including the Germans with their clubs and traditions; including the black population playing an ever increasing role in the city's civic affairs.

Now nature has done what the Civil War couldn't do. Nature has done what the labor riots of the 1920's couldn't do. Nature had done what "modern life" with its relentless pursuit of efficiency couldn't do. It has done what racism couldn't do, and what segregation couldn't do either. Nature has laid the city waste - with a scope that brings to mind the end of Pompeii.

I share this history for a reason - and to answer questions that have arisen these last few days. Almost as soon as the cameras began panning over the rooftops, and the helicopters began chopping free those trapped in their attics, a chorus of voices rose. "Why didn't they leave?" people asked both on and off camera. "Why did they stay there when they knew a storm was coming?" One reporter even asked me, "Why do people live in such a place?"

Then as conditions became unbearable, the looters took to the streets. Windows were smashed, jewelry snatched, stores broken open, water and food and televisions carried out by fierce and uninhibited crowds.

Now the voices grew even louder. How could these thieves loot and pillage in a time of such crisis? How could people shoot one another? Because the faces of those drowning and the faces of those looting were largely black faces, race came into the picture. What kind of people are these, the people of New Orleans, who stay in a city about to be flooded, and then turn on one another?

Well, here's an answer. Thousands didn't leave New Orleans because they couldn't leave. They didn't have the money. They didn't have the vehicles. They didn't have any place to go. They are the poor, black and white, who dwell in any city in great numbers; and they did what they felt they could do - they huddled together in the strongest houses they could find. There was no way to up and leave and check into the nearest Ramada Inn.

What's more, thousands more who could have left stayed behind to help others. They went out in the helicopters and pulled the survivors off rooftops; they went through the flooded streets in their boats trying to gather those they could find. Meanwhile, city officials tried desperately to alleviate the worsening conditions in the Superdome, while makeshift shelters and hotels and hospitals struggled.

And where was everyone else during all this? Oh, help is coming, New Orleans was told. We are a rich country. Congress is acting. Someone will come to stop the looting and care for the refugees.

And it's true: eventually, help did come. But how many times did Gov. Kathleen Blanco have to say that the situation was desperate? How many times did Mayor Ray Nagin have to call for aid? Why did America ask a city cherished by millions and excoriated by some, but ignored by no one, to fight for its own life for so long? That's my question.

I know that New Orleans will win its fight in the end. I was born in the city and lived there for many years. It shaped who and what I am. Never have I experienced a place where people knew more about love, about family, about loyalty and about getting along than the people of New Orleans. It is perhaps their very gentleness that gives them their endurance.

They will rebuild as they have after storms of the past; and they will stay in New Orleans because it is where they have always lived, where their mothers and their fathers lived, where their churches were built by their ancestors, where their family graves carry names that go back 200 years. They will stay in New Orleans where they can enjoy a sweetness of family life that other communities lost long ago.

But to my country I want to say this: During this crisis you failed us. You looked down on us; you dismissed our victims; you dismissed us. You want our Jazz Fest, you want our Mardi Gras, you want our cooking and our music. Then when you saw us in real trouble, when you saw a tiny minority preying on the weak among us, you called us "Sin City," and turned your backs.

Well, we are a lot more than all that. And though we may seem the most exotic, the most atmospheric and, at times, the most downtrodden part of this land, we are still part of it. We are Americans. We are you.

Anne Rice is the author of the forthcoming novel "Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt."

A VERY INTERESTING LOOK AT THE AFTERMATH OF KATRINA. YET STILL IT DOES NOT EXCUSE THE THUGS, PUNKS, AND RACIST EXTREMISTS TRYING TO EXPLOIT THE DEVESTATION OF KATRINA.

Racism unchecked, un biased

In this time after the tradjic hurricane Katrina, we see alot of blame being thrown around. yet if one looks at this it is pure racism. "Oh poor me. I have been oppressed since my ancestors first stood upright".

Nationally broadcast comments by millionares on television trying to convinvce the man who works 6o plus hours a week that this poor millionare is oppressed while he gets ready for another vacation of parties and smoozing. It is sickening.Kayne West is like a proffessional baseball player. Too much money and no work ethic! Poor me my people are being oppressed so I will blame the white man for the Black mayor of New Orleans failures. The fact that elected local representation in Louisianna is corrupt has nothing to do with the give me give me attitude that is prevalant in the media.

Every last one of these so called activists are getting on any media outlet that will air their woe is me story. Blameing the white man for their own lack of doing something to improve themselves. Then if, God forbid, an African American who has done something with their lives speaks out they are called an Uncle Tom and a sell out to their race. A recent articale by Eroll Louis, talks about the looting that will happen from the federal government while asserting that he is oppressed still. A picture of him in a nice suit and the fact he does pretty well for himself he is still oppressed. ( BULL HOCKEY)!

Claiming that his people have not had a chance to lift themselves up, poor education , lack of money, lack of leadership. Well Errol, if you didn't like the elected officials why not recall them and elect someone who would improve education. Political activism does work. Despite voter fraud by democrates we still elected LEGALLY President Bush by a majority vote and electorial college vote.

Maybe in this aftermath of devistation we will get a system in place that will give hand ups instead of HAND OUTS. Ween people off of government funds and make them more productive to society as a hole.

Sound radical? More then you know. I say stop the welfare programs and put people to work. A productive person is happier and more balanced then a person sitting on their ass collecting a check for nothing. If life is that bad in New Orleans then move. The lame excuse of no money to move is piss poor. If someone is attcking you, you either move or fight back. Either way it means getting up and stop whinning and do something.

Kayne West was correct in one thing, pictures shown have blacks looting and whites getting supplies to survive, oh wait he forgot the pics of the police looting and several whites acting just as stupid raiding stores for items of greed. I guese in Kaynes mind if a white man steels jewelery it is for survival, a black man it is looting. Does Kayne have a few feelings of guilt from his past surfacing? Looting is looting, and survival is survival, again it is all perspective in the eyes of the reporter and the viewer.

The fact that there presently are more black looters in New Orleans then White means absolutey nothing. Except camera ops for these activists.Yet another chance to spread their filth on civil equality. instead of playing the blame poor oppressed game maybe they should go help, or would that interfere with their jet setting life styles?

For years the levees have been undermanned and under code, rather lack of a better code in the knowledge of what may come. A sense of lets wait and put off fixing it to another day. A total lack of local governments ability to act in time of disaster. No leadership as expressed by New Orleans own mayor who is hiding out somewhere other then where he should be. A break down of civil discourse by people who look to the easy way out ( notice I do not say Black as there are white people just as lazy and vile as certain groups of black thugs running amuck in New Orleans).

Again was it not the local authority that failed first its own citizens? If like in all other areas of this country people had put away three days supplies would there not be less human disaster going on. I still say and the time line proves it that federal aid came in three days after the levees broke. That means for three days the locals had a chance to evacuate. Why then did they not? Why didn't authorities get out and look at the levee's? Why are there hundreds of busses sitting in water ladden parking lots not used. Oh we can't transport the poor in school busses?

Oppertuinities abound in this country and especially for the minorities. So many programs are out there that are not available to whites just because of skin color. Illegal Aliens can get low interests loans next to African Americans where whites can not qualify. So called diversity in hireing gives blacks a front in jobs (more commonly known as quotas). I FOR ONE AM SICK AND TIRED OF HEARING THIS I AM OPPRESSED CRAP. IT IS TIME TO PUT SKIN COLOR ASIDE GET OFF THEIR ASSES AND GET A JOB, VOTE AND BECOME PRODUCTIVE TO SOCIETY. This means white trailer trash living on the doll as well. Illegals being deported. People contribute to America and not against her by trying to tear her apart from within.

If you don't like my opinion, we'll then tell me where the federal government has helped minorites out by keeping them on the doll with handouts not handups? Explain to me how it is the federal governments fault that the local government failed to protect and evacuate the locals. You can't because the initial blame lays squarely on the locals for not doing their job first. It also lays on the citizens for electing corrupt officials and being passive in their lack of leadership. Not in the federal government.

The Blame Game

Now in this time of disaster we see the true colors of many so called activists and political/ethnic leaders. They call President Bush no God, yet they blame a natural disaster his fault. Conspirocy theories are running amock in the abnormal mind about how this happened. "it was planned to eliminate Democratic voters, it is a plot to kill off African Americans, the poor are to be removed." Lets face it this is not only absurd but ludacris.

Where is the leadership from the current administration, this is heard 24/7 at the moment. I ask simply where is the leadership from those who are closer to the scene. Why is the mayor of New Orleans in Baton Rouge instead of in the middle of his city trying to restore oreder and civility? Why isn't the mayor with the Govenor of Louisianna coordinating relief efforts? Where is the police chief? Why does he have so much time to do television interviews instead of rescueing those being held hostage by thugs?

Better yet how come these thugs/known gang and drug users allowed to run a muck? Why were they not locked up before this disaster. They are known criminals. Why isn't the chief of police standing shoulder to shoulder with the National Guard and issueing orders to restore order out of caos?

Now as I recall, all my life I have heard the authorities tell people that they should plan on having supplies for three days. This to include batteries for flashlights, food and water. Blankets and a radio. A three day supply. This is what is told to everyone for all disasters. Now the levees broke on tuesday, and relief started to enter the city on friday. HMMMMMMM, three days huh. However the press and the activists (really reverse racists) are screaming not soon enough. Looks to me like the relief plans are working as expected.

Why isn't there more coverage of the problems in Mississippi? Could it be because here we have a very active leadership role being shown by the Govenor? I think so! Still three days after Mississippi was hit, federal relief started to move in, however there are few reports of a breakdown in civil nature. People of Mississippi are conducting themselves in a fashion of order trying to rebuild and rescue/aid those in need.

A big differance in this is not race , nor is it an economic reason. Mississippi is just as poor and ladden with ethnic diversity as much as New Orleans. What is going on is that Mississippi does not have nearly as many thugs, punks, degenerates, or racial activists. The blame game usual racists cannot get into Mississippi and stir up trouble like they can in New Orleans. The authority in Mississippi is conducting a tramendouse effort of relief while the authority of New Orleans (the mayor and other disreputable leaders) are not!

While national morons like Wayne West , Moveon.org, Randall Robinson, along with other "poor me" activists who want to blame the federal government instead of local Black leaders are banging their oppresed drums. They fail to ask the important questions. All they keep saying is where is the federal government. The questions should fall closer to home. Why didn't the local authority have in place better plans? Why did the local government allow so many to stay and ride out this disaster? Why are so many claiming they never got the word? Should not this be looked at? If they didnt get the word where was the local EAS systems ands why did they not broadcast to people to get items they obviousely need to survive(going back to three days os supplies).

No they will not ask these questions because deep down they believe in big Government has to take care of people. Socialism is their way of life. Keep the handouts coming and do not attempt to give me a hand up but keep the handouts coming.

For those who speak out so loudly on the looting, and providing excuses for the theft , rapes, and murders going on. I ask them since when does looting a Wal Mart taking items like cash, jewelerey, vacumns have to do with survival. Since when does the sniping of firefighters and their familes lead to survival. The armed incursions and force on hospitals. What has this to do with survival. It isn't a matter of life and death but an accumilation of basic I want what I do not have and am to lazy to earn. It is easier to rob then to EARN. Gangs, drug users and degenerates are running amock and the activists are making excuses for them. Blaming the federal government for these criminals and covering it up as a suppression of African Americans. Talk about putting a spin on things.

There are plenty of African Americans who are doing the right thing, providing aid and comfort to both white and black citizens during this time of despair. The same can be said of white people aiding the survivors of Katrina. Are we going to hear about this? No in the least. The blame Bush crowd would rather exaggerate the truth and the facts before our eyes and make it into a racial battle of civil rights and oppression. A conspirocy where Bush forsaw this and sent the national guard off and secretely years before disabled the levees to allow this.

I feel sorry for the survivors of Katrina, for from now on I will think of the racists and looters before the heroic actions of some.

Looting and Idiocy

How funny it is that every time there is a disaster the worst comes out in human nature. one can always comment on the good that comes out. The heroic actions of a few to save and aid others. Amazing rescues, superhuman feats of endurance or strength. Yet katrina shows how base idiocy can run a mock. Here we have politicians playing the blame game. Instead of pulling together they are pointing fingures and playing armchair quarterback on help issues.

Now lets take a look at this looting. Ok for food and water, possibly grabbing a few generators seems resonable to me. Basic needs to meet and be fullfilled. However when they (looters) take t.v.'s and stereo equipment. Grab clothes (dresses and tennis shoes) out of stores. Recliner chairs and jewelery. Com'on now since when is jewelery a basic right let alone a needed item for survival. This is idiocy exemplified at its best.

The shooting at rescue helocopters and supply trucks. The car jackings of relief vehicals is ASSINE. What we have going on is a group of people that do not have any RESPECT, or LOVE for their fellow man. No compassion or mercy for anyone who may be in need.

This PISS POOR excuse of the man has kept me down , or it is a government conspirocy to eliminate the Blackman is ABSURD. ( check out KOS blog on this ...lol ... really stupid and embarrising for anyone who has a halfwit for a brain).

With hospitol employees trapped inside a nurseing facility instead of saying hey can we work out something, room and food for help in shoreing up the facilities, we get armed idiots trying to take things. Whats interesting is that it isnt the food they are after but what may be in the pharmacy that the looters want. What kind of a moron shoots at a rescue helo preventing it from rescueing people?

Now when the National Guard moves in along with federal troops, the police get some back bone and shoot several of these scum of human society sending out a message that we do not act like paniced children and third world illiterates in times of national disasters. Will the ACLU step foward and try to sue the authorities for bringing order out of caos. Or are they going to stand up for the small store owner defending his livelyhood and family from looters?

More Idiocy comes from the wacko enviormentalist. The absurd and stupid statements of it is the governments fault for mythical global warming that Katrina accurd. Blamming a non signature on a penilizing treaty for being the leader in the world, punishing the United States when third worls nations do not meet any E.P.A. standards. This is utterly assine!

It only took 72 hours for other nations to offer aid to this disaster. WOW, it only took hours for the United States to offer aid after the tsunnami. The redirection of Battle Groups to go and offer humanitarian aid without strings. Why hasn't Mexico offered any aid. I would think now would be a good time since the immigration invasion is such a hot topic to offer some sort of aid. This aid would take a little heat off the invasion issue. Canada where are they, knowing how if it wasn't for the United States they would be in economic hurt lock.

Looting by thugs and punks and the scum of humanity is only hurting relief efforts. Just like the L.A. riots, this disaster is an excuse for morons to act out and do stupid things in the hope they will not get caught or punished. So far the authorities are only aidding these people, and encourageing this behavior. After the one police officer was shot in the head, ( fortunately he is recovering) a statement by authority has TO BE MADE! Shoot looters and leave them to float out to sea with the rest of the trash!
