Why Israel sleeps not

The middle east has seen a shift in extremist power. Iran claims to hold and looks to hold the upper hand momentarily. Claiming to be useing now 54,000 centrifuges. 54,000 that is an incredible number. How can any rational mind accept the story of we will only be useing this for peaceful nuclear energy.

So what do they need to do to join the nuke club now?

Mining uranium
Uranium is the basic raw material of both civilian and military nuclear programmes.

It is extracted from either open-cast pits or by underground mining. Although uranium occurs naturally all over the world, only a small fraction is found in concentrated ores.

When certain atoms of uranium are split in a chain reaction, energy is released. This process is called nuclear fission.

In a nuclear power station this fission occurs slowly, while in a nuclear weapon, very rapidly. In both instances, fission must be very carefully controlled.

Nuclear fission works best if isotopes - atoms with the same atomic number, but different numbers of neutrons - of uranium 235 (or plutonium 239) are used. Uranium-235 is known as a "fissile isotope" because of its propensity to split in a chain reaction, releasing energy in the form of heat.

When a U-235 atom splits, it emits two or three neutrons.

When other U-235 atoms are present, these neutrons collide with them causing the other atoms to split, producing more neutrons.

A nuclear reaction will only take place if there are enough u-235 atoms present to allow this process to continue as a self-sustaining chain reaction. This requirement is known as "critical mass".

However, every 1,000 atoms of naturally-occurring uranium contain only seven atoms of U-235, with the remaining 993 being denser U-238.

OK so what you as a leftist enlightened progressive thinker asks. Does not Iran, like any other nation have the right to produce nuclear technology? With the use of fossil fuels, and the threat of global warming do to mans abuse of the earth, should'nt we help ion the production of alternate fuels. Who are we as Americans to deny any nation the right to improve themselves. As a matter of fact we should be paying for and building this technology for them you say.

Well let me respond to this enlightened thinking. NO NO NO NO NO NO! As the only country to detonate any weapon of this magnitude during an armed conflict, Nagasaki, Hiroshima. Do these ring a bell in that progressive mind? Remember the devestation smacked down on the Japanese. The devestation that was unleashed was an eye opener.

Now the history lesson over lets look at what a madman who is now cabable of making these weapons has to say about his thoughts on the middle east.
Quote:
"And God willing, with the force of God behind it, we shall soon experience a world without the United States and Zionism ." -- Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

Anybody who recognizes Israel will burn in the fire of the Islamic nation's fury,”

“We think the era of utilization of force and pressure in international relations has ended. Today, the will of the people will prevail, as it did in the election in Iran.”

“Powerful Iran is the best friend of the neighboring states and the best guarantor of regional security,”

The thought of a man who denies that 6 million Jews were murdered by the nazi's,has maps that do not include Israel. Calls the west, America and Israel are blights on the world. These ae not enough reasons to prevent muclear arms from being placed in his hands? Then what is a good reason. Do we have to wait untill this madman uses one on the United States , or starts to bomb Israel.

Well under progressive thinking, a mushroom cloud over Tel Aviv still would not be enough proof on Ahmadinejads intentions. However those who have a grasp on reality see the threat coming and are willing to try to prevent a catastrophic event.

personally i like to collect find glass and there is a bunch of the primary ingrediant available...where is it again?
