Who can you Trust?

Here is something everyone should think about. Who can you trust? Is it your nieghbor the Hispanic family that flies a Mexican flag above the American on holidays, or the corner 7/11 where Ahkmed and his wife sell slushies.

http://www.foxnews.com

NEW YORK — Authorities said Sunday that Rafiq Abdus Sabir (search), 50, a Boca Raton physician, and Tarik Shah (search), 42, a self-described martial arts expert in New York, conspired to treat and train terrorists. Both are American citizens.

Both men were scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in federal court, Shah in New York and Sabir in Florida, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney David Kelley in Manhattan.

It was not immediately clear who would represent them in court. If convicted, each man faces a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.

The one-count complaint claims the men allegedly took an oath pledging their allegiance to Al Qaeda. The government said the men engaged in multiple recorded conversations with a confidential source and an FBI agent posing as an Al Qaeda operative.

During the conversations, Shah also described how he and Sabir in 1998 tried to get to training camps in Afghanistan and said they were a "package" deal, Kelley said in the release.

Police Department Commissioner Raymond Kelly said, "It is particularly gratifying that someone using New York City as a base for terrorist support is now in custody."

Loyalty and Pride

Lots of stories in the news of Hispanic pride, which is a good thing, but just where are their loyalties at. I have nothing against being proud of your heritage and celebrating ones Culture. As a matter of Fact I take great pride in being Native American, German, English, Welsch, Irish, and Dutch. I have a colorful background as do many Americans. It is a wonderful thing being so diverse. So much rich history and background to call upon. However Looking at Hispanic news articals one has to wonder just what are they being taught and learning.

Claims of racism and being oppressed are running rampent. I hesitate to think what would hapopen if herre in Denver we went back to a St. Patricks day instead of a mulitculutral day parade, and we all have seen the hatred towards Italians on Christopher Columbus day. We celebrate the worlds largest Cinco de Mayo festivites, larger than any in Mexico, or any other city in America. So what is the beef? Read some of the following articals and think about this and who is influencing the thinking of Hispanic culture in America.

Trespassing

So where does it say that only Americans have to obey the law and ILLEGALS don't

Illegal Immigrants Charged With Trespass Seek Dismissal
Men Arrested After Traffic Stop

POSTED: 12:02 pm EDT May 26, 2005

NASHUA, N.H. -- Attorneys for two illegal immigrants charged with trespassing asked a court to dismiss the charges on Thursday.

Margarito Jaramillio Escobar and Sergio Ruiz-Robles were unable to provide police with any documentation when they were pulled over earlier this month. An investigation found that the two Mexican nationals were in the country illegally, and following the lead of a similar arrest in New Ipswich, N.H., police charged them with criminal trespassing.

In court on Thursday the defense, aided by the Mexican consulate, filed a motion to dismiss the charges. Attorneys said that the state trespassing law doesn't apply to an immigration matter.

[So the Mexican Consulate thinks that only Americans have to obey the law while their ILLEGAL citizens can do what ever they want when ever they choose. See if that flies in a Mexican court of law against an American accused of breaking their laws.]

Prosecutors and police said that they're sworn to uphold federal law.

"If you're in the town of Hudson and you're not supposed to be in this country and you're remaining in the U.S. when you're not licensed or privileged to do so, we're going to take action in the town of Hudson," police Capt. Ray Mello said.

[Three cheers for the town of Hudson. ENFORCE THE LAW.]

If convicted, both men could be fined a maximum of $1,000. A hearing on the defense's motion to dismiss has been set for July 15.

INVASION USA
Mexican commandos
new threat on border
U.S.-trained elite force
now works for drug cartel

WASHINGTON – Elite Mexican commandos, trained by U.S. forces to combat the drug cartels have switched sides and are working for the drug smugglers in the border area posing a special hazard to American law enforcement and Border Patrol agents, according to a U.S. Justice Department memo.

The commandos, trained by the U.S. Army at Fort Benning, Ga., are known as "Los Zetas."

The Justice Department warning was sent to law enforcement agencies throughout the Southwest.

Using the commando training, Los Zetas are known to be extremely violent and have been blamed for an outbreak of violence along the Mexican border.

There are reports of the commandos making cross-border runs into U.S. territory in military-style vehicles, armed with automatic weapons.

The U.S. government has spent millions of dollars training Los Zetas to intercept drugs, some of them coming from Mexico's southern border, before they could reach the U.S. The U.S. government has also sent U.S. Border Patrol agents to Mexico's southern border with Guatemala to train law enforcement and military forces to intercept human smugglers destined to reach the U.S.

"Things like that are a concern to us, especially trained here on the U.S. side," Pima County Sheriff Tony Estrada told KVOA, channel 4 in Tucson, Arizona. "They've gotten pretty special training. ... Now, they are working with drug traffickers on the Mexican side."

Lt. Ron Benson added: "Not only did they receive some early military training but they developed their own internal training as well increasing their violence far beyond their own original capabilities."

Benson has worked with the Department of Homeland Security and tracked the rogue Mexican commandos. He is now retiring from the Pima County Sheriff's Department and will be working with the FBI.

"They are a threat to authorities not only in Texas, but in New Mexico, Arizona and California," he said. "Because we believe Los Zetas are being used as protectors for narcotics coming into this country."

Benson says sons and nephews of Los Zetas are starting their own organization and taking part in the drug wars.

[If they are selling out for the drug money what is to prevent them from bringing their filth further into America and simplely attacking our citizens who oppose drugs?]

"Old Glory " Offensive?

This is the most absurd thing I have come across to date. How in the HELL can the American flag be offensive in our country ... AMERICA! Political correctness has definately crossed the line and its time common sense is returned.

ORDER NOT TO "OFFEND"

A NewsWithViews.com &
US~Observer.com Report
May 27, 2005
By Ron Lee

MEDFORD, OR - Due to intense public pressure brought on by outraged U.S. citizens over the display of a Mexican flag, the Oregon Employment Department removed the flag from its 119 N. Oakdale Ave. offices in Medford, Oregon, but that isn't the only thing that has been taken down from its walls.

Just hours after the story "Placing the Mexican Flag above 'Old Glory'" was published on-line, the US~Observer received the response below from Thomas Fuller the Employment Department's Statewide Communications Manager:

http://www.newswithviews.com/BreakingNews/breaking34.htm

Following up on this report, NewsWithViews.com headed back to the employment department to investigate. When asked why the American flag was removed along with the Mexican flag, Jean Work, the Office Manager for the Medford Oregon Employment Department replied, "It was removed in order not to offend." But when asked who it would offend she stated, "Well, I’d rather not use the word offend. It was removed in order to conform with the rest of the staff who have their flags on their desks."

[ Offend? What the hell it is a American government office and the American flag should be flown there.]

According to Craig Spivey, a public information representative of the Oregon Employment Department, there are currently 37 employees in their Medford office. When asked how many of these individuals were displaying their flag on their desks and are these individuals American citizens he replied, "Personal information about our employees is considered confidential by the department, and therefore can not be shared with the media."

In a meeting between Paul Walter, one of the editors of NewsWithViews.com, and Edward Snook, discussing this case Walter stated, "The appearance that it gave to me after the Mexican flag was removed is that the American flag had to be removed in order not to offend the Mexican employees and all for the sake of political correctness."

http://www.newswithviews.com/BreakingNews/breaking34.htm

Walter, an immigrant himself, "I left Yugoslavia to be an American, because it's the greatest country in the world. Why would I hold onto a political symbol of a country I chose to no longer be a part of?"

Whatever the reasoning behind the lowering of the Stars and Stripes, the public is already inflamed by the Employment Department's - and ultimately the Department of Administrative Services - move to allow the display of the Mexican flag in a state-run office in the first place. According to the majority of the approximated 2,000 e-mails received, the hostility they feel for such an action is tied directly to illegal immigration and this current administrations lack of action in the face of what some call an invasion. Many fear that our country is being eroded away into a multi-lingual, multi-culturalist, separatist, alien haven, rather than being the melting pot that our forefathers envisioned.
http://www.newswithviews.com/BreakingNews/breaking34.htm

[Political correctness has gone to far when we as citizens in our OWN country cannot fly OUR AMERICAN flag for fear it may be offensive to those who are not AMERICAN or have sympathies towards other nations. If they have these feelings then GO HOME AND GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS AMERICA DAMNIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Liberal Talk Falls Again

Rateings out and a poor showing by Air America again. Seems that they just don't understand that insult and poor humor make poor radio.

#1 New York City:

WABC continues to be in trouble, down over a share since the Fall 2004 survey and slipping another tenth this month. It's still in eighth place overall for all listeners 12 and older.

WOR, still glued to horrible special-interest programming through much of its schedule, stubbornly refuses to enter radio's modern era. It is, however, giving WABC heartburn in the evenings, when it puts Michael Savage up against their weak lineup. It turned in a flat 21st place performance overall.

WLIB, Air America's flagship station, continues to show no growth, coming in at 24th place with no change in audience share. The station's inability to grow by even a measly tenth of a share must be frustrating to the corporate suits.

#2 Los Angeles:

KFI, the Southland's Limbaugh station, drops from a 4.6 to a 4.2, good for third place overall. Not a reason to panic. John and Ken continue to generate the lion's share of media attention in the market, jumping on hot stories and gaining attention.

Always struggling KABC continues its recent downward trend, turning in a 16th performance, with a 2.2 share of the audience. Last fall, it had a 2.9.

Liberal talker KTLK rose a tenth, from a 0.3 to a 0.4. That was good for second-to-last place, one notch above a tiny Spanish news-talker. New programming, including live, local talkers, isn't delivering ratings so far.

#3 Chicago:

WGN, where baseball is king, held steady in second place, but hasn't yet regained off-season ratings losses. Another month or two should fix that.

WLS, about to gain skilled, veteran programmer Kipper McGee, had a flat, fifth place showing. McGee should bring fresh energy into addressing some of the station's recent weaknesses. It's the Windy City's Rush station.

#17 San Diego:

KOGO-AM takes a half-share dip from recent highs, to a 4.8 share from a 5.3. Nothing to sound the alarm over, yet. This is the Limbaugh station in San Diego.

Rival KFMB-AM hasn't recovered from a massive recent ratings drop, which took it from a 4.8 to a 3.2. This is the Savage affiliate for the market. A lack of local programming has stalled this station.

Air America's KLSD-AM weighs in at a flat 1.6 share, no change since last month, but off the earlier high of 2.3. This is the station touted as lib talk's great hope, but it's in no danger of taking off, ever.

#18 Long Island:

WABC is especially weak here, falling to a 3.6 share, from a 5.1 in the fall, for eighth place.

WOR jumps from 2.6 to 3.1, good for 12th place, again showing where Savage has been a boost for the station.

WLIB rises from a 0.7 to a whopping 0.9. That's good for 29th place on Long Island.

Wednesday Updates:

#6 Philadelphia:

WPHT, Infinity's conservative talker, is flat with a 3.8 share, good for ninth place overall.

Liberal talker WHAT-AM slips slightly, down to a 0.6 from a 0.7, good for 26th place.

#10 Detroit:

ABC's WJR is as strong as ever, holding first place with a 6.1 share.

CHUM's Canadian talker CKLW registers a 0.5 share on the American side of the border.

WDTW, Air America affiliate, finally shows up in the ratings, but with a 0.5. So it's a neck-and-neck battle for the bottom of the ratings between an Ontario talk station and liberal talk.

Thursday Update:

#4 San Francisco:

KGO held number one, as always, with a slight gain to a 6.8 share.

Conservative talker KSFO jumped from a 3.1 share to a 3.7, moving into sixth place. Ratings had recently been dropping, so this is a good turnaround.

Clear Channel's KNEW, meant to be a rival to KSFO, remains stalled in 23rd place.

Air America/ liberal talker KQKE actually drops, from a 1.0 to a 0.9, for a 28th ranking. This has to be very disappointing.

#9 Boston:

WBZ holds first place with a 7.3.

Conservative talker WRKO up slightly, from a 4.1 to a 4.3, for sixth place overall.

Conservative WTKK-FM turns in a flat performance and ranks 10th.

Air America's two Boston stations disappear from the radar screen, that's right, they are no-shows. Blame the signal quality all you want, but they were getting at least some ratings before. Even major free publicity from the Boston Globe didn't help one bit. Can't wait to hear the lame excuses. Bet the Globers won't be dwelling on this news.

#33 San Jose, Calif:

KGO a strong first place.

KSFO in great shape, up from 3.7 to 4.0, so the conservative talker takes third place. Well done.

KQKE shows up with a 0.6. Must be quite a celebration at Air America headquarters.

#77 Monterey-Santa Cruz-Salinas:

In the Radio Equalizer's hometown, KGO holds fifth place.

Local talker KSCO gets a flat 1.1 share.

Conservative talkers KNEW of SF, KSFO of SF and Fresno's KMJ each get about a half share, hovering in the low end of the Monterey Bay rankings. This market still lacks a strong local talk station, fairly atypical in talk radio.

#8 Washington DC:

WMAL-AM continues to decline rapidly, even as other conservative stations had a good month, with gains in many cities. It's dropped from a 4.4 share in Fall 2004 to a 2.8 now, falling to 13th place overall. It's very likely that the 25-54 demographic will prove uglier. We'll just have to remind the Washington Post that this is station-specific, not a nationwide trend.

WJFK-FM drops slightly, coming in at 16th place.

Liberal talker WWRC shows up in last place (35th) with a 0.4.

There you have it liberal talk sinking for a third time.

Subvert the Government

Why is the Consulate from Mexico attending and making sugestions to a local American City Government? More importantly why are they listening and baseing their decisions on advice from a foriegn government? Richfield is not then only place this is happening. All over America the Mexican Consulates are trying and succeeding in changing polocies and laws in favor of the illegal aliens. Denver, Los Angeles, Arizona, Michagan, its a take over and a denial of Americans to have their own country, with laws to live by.

IT IS AN INVASION

When you want to take over a country you sneek in undetected and begin with subverting the populance. You politically change the education system, create a domestic problem that makes the government look bad in the eyes of its citizens. Slowly you begin to control the jobs and thus the economy. Once you get a foot hold in you then work on turning the elected officials to your favcor.
Some powerful plans, and it is exactly what is happening NOW TO THIS COUNTRY. This Nation has been always friendly to imigrents and people from all over the world. It is part of the great strengths that we have over the rest of the world. However look at whats going on now. We are being invaded and subverted by those who want what we have. Its not a matter of we won't share. Look everytime there is a disaster or revolution, oppression, The United States is the first to come to the aid and bring civility to the region.

Illegal Immigrants Seek Job Opportunities Away From the Farm
Fifth of Six Parts

By Eric Pera
The Ledger

LAKELAND
For immigrant workers, picking crops isn't the only option. Many are snapping up low-paying jobs doing construction, housekeeping and more.

Of the 2.5 million new jobs created nationally last year, nearly 1 million were filled by Hispanic immigrants new to this country. Of those, an estimated 700,000 are here illegally, according to the Pew Hispanic Center.

Locally, the three hurricanes that crossed Polk County last year brought even more opportunity for Hispanics in construction -- essentially pulling migrants from the groves and putting them on the roofs of damaged buildings.

Anyone who has had home repair work done since the storms has likely dealt with workers who speak Spanish, not English.

It's illegal to hire undocumented workers, but many get hired using bogus identification cards, authorities say. Recently, The Associated Press reported that 66 illegal immigrants who used fake Social Security cards to get jobs were arrested while working at a new federal courthouse site in Orlando.

With industries such as hospitality, construction and agriculture in Central Florida, we have "an awful lot of jobs that are being filled by people here illegally that are allowing our economy to continue to boom," said U.S. Rep. Adam Putnam, R-Bartow.

"In many cases they are taking jobs that Americans don't want. You could advertise for a month for tomato harvesters and not have a single domestic worker show up. Who wants that job?" Putnam asked. "It's a real problem."

Or more to the point, it's a dilemma of national scale.

Illegal Mexicans and other Hispanics are largely responsible for getting America's economy out of the doldrums, according to the Pew Hispanic Center, an arm of the Pew Charitable Trusts.

While the demand for immigrant labor remains high, these new workers are primarily filling low-skill, low-wage jobs. Nationwide, more foreign-born Hispanics are working as maids or truck drivers than there are in fields and groves, according to Pew Hispanic Center statistics.

The construction industry relies heavily on these new foreigners, according to a Pew analysis of recent data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the Census Bureau.

Without this influx of illegal immigrants, Central Florida's construction boom of recent years might have gone bust, said Joel Adams, president of the Polk County Builders Association.

"It was a godsend. We were struggling to find reliable help," he said. "They've stepped up, and I've seen them fill a pretty good void."

Hispanics have been instrumental in meeting builders' demands for framers, masons and drywall installers, said Adams, a builder who co-owns Highland Homes, a family business.

Such trades pay better, on average, than farm labor -- as much as $15 an hour or more, which is twice what an experienced laborer can make picking citrus.

Adams said he understands the dilemma facing politicians because of mounting public pressure to clamp down on illegal border crossings.

But there are no easy answers, he said, because Mexicans and other Hispanics are fundamental to the economy.

"It's a little bit of the free market (at work)," Adams said. "I think they seize an opportunity, and they're not afraid to work hard."

That view is shared by Mexico's President Vicente Fox, who recently criticized U.S. immigration reforms, including the decision to extend walls along the border and make it harder for illegal migrants to get driver licenses.

"There's no doubt that the Mexican men and women -- full of dignity, willpower and a capacity for work -- are doing the work that not even blacks want to do in the United States," Fox said earlier this month

The Rev. Jesse Jackson responded by saying that Fox's comments were "unwitting, unnecessary and inappropriate."

He said Fox "should not confuse the need for sound legal immigration policy between the two countries, which is important, and the border disputes between the two countries, with a spurious comparison."

In response to Jackson's comments, Mexico's foreign relations secretary, Luis Derbez, said Fox was not motivated by racism but was emphasizing that "Mexican migrants are making great contributions in the United States and that their role is a positive role."

Eric Pera can be reached at eric.per@theledger.com or 863-802-7528. The Associated Press contributed to this article.

ILLEGAL ALIENS ARE NOT VITAL TO THE ECONOMY AS A MATTER OF FACT THEY ARE HURTING IT BY TAXING THE RESOURCES AND FORCEING THE AVERAGE WAGE DOWN.

Gulag or Gitmo?

Russian Man Prefers Gitmo To Russian Alternative

-------------------------------------------------------------
It's Apparently No OZ

Here's this nice little bit in oppressor news: the "death camp" at Gitmo is preferred over Russian prison. In fact, one detainee at Gitmo has enlisted his mother's aid to fight extradition to Russia, preferring to remain in Guantanamo and take his chances with an American military tribunal over a Russian court.

Rooters did carry this, despite not fitting with its pro-terrorism, anti-America meme. It wasn't filed under "International" or "law" however. It was under "Oddly Enough".

"At Guantanamo they treat him humanely, the conditions are fine. I think that there is not even a health resort in Russia on the level of this place."

Aren't we savages.

Much ado about NOTHING

It seems that the anti American crowd sure wants to jump on the rumors and myths of massive mistreatment of detainees (terrorist) beingn held in Gulags (detention camps).More on the absured allegations of the United States running Gulags later.

It seems that the detainee that first claimed Americans flushed the Qu'ran down the toilet has retracted the allegation of this happening, but do the self rightouse leftist and anti American press bother to run with this as the front page story. Hell no, they would much rather continue to show their support for those who would see harm befall America. (UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE SHALL FALL)

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Guantanamo detainee who told an FBI agent in 2002 that U.S. personnel there had flushed a Koran in a toilet retracted his allegation when questioned this month by military investigators, the Pentagon said on Thursday.
"We've gone back to the detainee who allegedly made the allegation and he has said it didn't happen. So the underlying allegation, the detainee himself, within the last two weeks, said that didn't happen," chief Pentagon spokesman Lawrence Di Rita told a briefing.

An FBI document, dated Aug. 1, 2002, contained a summary of statements made by the detainee in two interviews with an FBI special agent at the prison for foreign terrorism suspects at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The names of the detainee and the agent were redacted.

"The guards in the detention facility do not treat him well. Their behavior is bad. About five months ago, the guards beat the detainees. They flushed a Koran in the toilet," the FBI agent wrote.Di Rita did not identify the detainee or release his exact words.

Another senior Pentagon spokesman, Bryan Whitman, said the detainee "indicated, when asked about the desecration, that he was not knowledgeable of anything."

The American Civil Liberties Union released the FBI document and a series of others it obtained from the government through the Freedom of Information Act. In other documents, FBI agents stated that Guantanamo detainees also accused U.S. personnel of kicking the Koran and throwing it to the floor, and described beatings by guards.

Amnesty International Calls Gitmo a 'Gulag'
By Paisley Dodds, The Associated Press
Published: May 25, 2005
LONDON—Amnesty International branded the U.S. prison camp at Guantanamo Bay a human rights failure Wednesday, calling it “the gulag of our time” as it released a report that offers stinging criticism of the United States and its detention centers around the world.

The 308-page report accused the United States of shirking its responsibility to set the bar for human rights protections and said Washington has instead created a new lexicon for abuse and torture. Amnesty International called for the camp to be closed.

“Attempts to dilute the absolute ban on torture through new policies and quasi-management speak, such as ‘environmental manipulation, stress positions and sensory manipulation,’ was one of the most damaging assaults on global values,” the annual report said.

[Just where in the hell are these bastards when Americans are murdered, dragged from their vehicals, beheaded, tortured on video and the burned desecrated bodies left hanging from bridges. The fact that the lack of knowledge of what a true Gulag is and was is amazing. To think that the have the cajones to compare Gitmo to a Gulag is just dumbfounding.]

“Guantanamo has become the gulag of our time,” Amnesty Secretary General Irene Khan said.
“There’s a myth going around that there’s some kind of rule of law being applied,” said Rob Freer, an Amnesty official who specializes in detention issues.

Amnesty acknowledged the human rights deficiencies came with a rash of terrorist actions, including the televised beheadings of captives in Iraq.

While criticizing the detention mission at Guantanamo, Amnesty said one sign of hope was the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in June that let prisoners challenge the basis of their detention. It also said it was encouraging that Britain’s high court lords ruled on the indefinite detention without charge or trial of “terrorist suspects.”

“The challenge for the human rights movement is to harness the power of civil society and push governments to deliver on their human rights promises,” Khan said.
http://www.sacunion.com/pages/world/articles/5001/

[ During their claim of Gitmo the new Gulag they never specify exactly how it is a Gulag other then by saying that torture and mistreatment accures there. Well if it is a true Gulag how come so many detainees are still alive I want to know. I want to know why they are not forced into labor and activities that benifiet America as a Soviet Gulag forced its people to aid the Russian government. If Gitmo is a true Gulag why are there not massive amounts of people being grabbed in the middle of the night and dissapearing from society and dieing in this Gitmo Gulag. Why isn't there a run an body bags at Gitmo then? Why? Why, I will tell you why. It is because the terrorist sympathisers who hate America and all we stand for while hideing behind those who defend their right to be complete A#$ Holes want to rally antiAmerican atitudes around the world, that is why. For every lie being told and mistruth that these so called members of the fourth estate spew forth, ever more damage is done to putting an end to this cvonflict. They are like children with a stick. They can't understand why the hornets keep stinging them but they take their stick and hit the nest.
Once again the truth is coming out and their cry of foul is much ado about nothing]

Who's rights violated?

What right do those who break the law have to tell those who abide by the law what to do and when to do it and how to do it?

MALDEF files civil rights lawsuit in Albuquerque

The lawsuit says the US Border Patrol was called to campus after it was learned the students were illegal immigrants.
The students have been ordered to leave the US by June 1st. The lawsuit contends that campuses are safe havens for students.
School, police and border patrol officials decline comment.

Health Care for Illegals Costing U.S. Millions
Undocumented immigrants and residents of northern Mexico who seek medical care in the U.S. are costing Americans hundreds of millions of dollars a year.
All along the U.S.-Mexico border, American hospitals are the place Mexicans go when they need care.
Story Continues Below

In an emergency, friends or relatives will drive a stricken resident of a border town in Mexico to a U.S. checkpoint - and U.S. ambulances will take the sick individual to a U.S. hospital, where the person is treated and is sometimes sent to more sophisticated facilities for further work, a report in USA Today reveals.
In some cases pregnant women cross the border after going into labor, seeking good medical care and citizenship for their newborn children.
Arizona has been especially hard hit since the mid-1990s, when U.S. border crackdowns in Texas and California resulted in more illegal immigrants seeking entry along the state’s 350-mile border with Mexico.
The Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association took a survey and discovered that in 2002, Arizona medical centers reported losses of over $150 million due to treatment of foreign convalescents.
In Tucson, 75 miles north of the border, the University Medical Center will lose $12 million treating Mexicans because they will never be able to pay back the costs of their care.
Hospitals do use international collection companies to pursue payments, but most costs go uncollected, reports USA Today. http://newsmax.com/archives/ic/2005/5/25/95606.shtml

Group gets mixed results in D.C. trip
By Fernando Quintero And Matthew A. White, Rocky Mountain NewsMay 25, 2005
WASHINGTON - A group of Denver-area community leaders - including illegal immigrants - who traveled to the nation's capital Tuesday to meet with elected officials on such issues as immigration policy and education reform had mixed reviews.
Most surprising was the reception they got from U.S. Rep. Bob Beauprez, R-Colo., the only elected representative who actually met with the group. The other political leaders from Colorado they were scheduled to meet with, including Sens. Ken Salazar, a Democrat, and Wayne Allard, a Republican, and Democratic U.S. Rep. Diana DeGette, sent aides instead.

"We received no answers. We feel like we are leaving empty-handed," said Sharon Bridgeforth, an organizer with Metro Organizations for People.
In addition to immigration policy, the Denver group was in the nation's capital to seek support for better health care for children, home ownership tax credits, education reform and public safety.
[ What about my rights to home ownership tax credits/ low mortgage rate loans, education, and my safety?]

Illegal Asian immigrants caught in Goliad County
May 25, 2005ROBIN M. FOSTERVictoria Advocate
GOLIAD - Goliad County wrote a new chapter Tuesday in its ongoing dealings with human smuggling. Sheriff Robert DeLaGarza said more than a dozen Asians who appear to be illegal immigrants were caught traveling through south Goliad County by a deputy patrolling an area north of Sarco.
DeLaGarza said the suspected illegals had passports from the Republic of China. It appears they are obtaining passports to enter Mexico as tourists, then making their way to the United States border, he said.
A U.S. Border Patrol agent who picked up the immigrants later in the day told DeLaGarza the agency is seeing more and more Chinese coming across the Mexican border.
A spokesman for U.S. Border Patrol confirmed that 13 Chinese illegal immigrants were picked up in Goliad County. Rogelio Cervantes, spokesman for the Rio Grande Sector of U.S. Border Patrol, said they will be held for deportation proceedings from the agency's Corpus Christi station.
DeLaGarza's department, as well as the sheriff's departments in neighboring Refugio and Bee counties, has been working with residents of the Sarco area in south Goliad County to crack down on the flow of illegal immigrants through their community. Residents there are concerned that the human smugglers who are driving the illegals through could also be transporting drugs, weapons or terrorists.
DeLaGarza said Deputy Jim Garner was on patrol when he spotted the vehicle containing the Chinese immigrants headed north on Farm-to-Market Road 2441. As he pursued the pick-up, the driver stopped and fled into the brush, DeLaGarza said. The deputy found about 10 people hiding in the rear of the pick-up under a burlap tarp. Three others, all young women, were riding inside the truck, he said. All of the people appear to be in their teens and early 20's, the sheriff said.

Read the Report!

Read the actual report iof the ALLEDGED abuse at Gitmo. In the report you see it was a Muslum who dropped the Qu'aran [(?) how ever you spell it], not the guard who flushed it down the toilet. ( although when a book is perverted from its origions as much as this one has been maybe flushing it isn't a bad idea).
A couple excerpts from the report with a link to it following:

DETAINEES 3884
Summary of FBI interview of detainee at Guantanamo Bay
08/24/02
Notes, "REDACTED explained that during his detention by the US military in Kandahar, Afghanistan, he was beaten by some guards as he was lying face down on the ground. He stated that he was not resisting, and was beaten for apparently no reason. REDACTED further stated that there were other guards that treated him very well."

DETAINEES 3885-3889
Summary of FBI interview of detainee at Guantanamo Bay
08/27/02
Notes, "REDACTED stated that he was not mistreated at any time, nor did he witness any mistreatment while in the custody of the Northern Alliance. REDACTED stated that he was treated 'roughly' while in the custody of the American military. REDACTED further stated that while he was not abused while in the custody of the American military, he was, on occasion, pushed to the ground while his hands were handcuffed behind his back."

DETAINEES 3923
Summary of FBI interview of detainee at Guantanamo Bay
10/21/02
Notes, "REDACTED stated that he has been in prison for nine months and noone can prove he committed any crime. REDACTED claimed he was mistreated by U.S. Army Military Police soldiers during a recent cell block search . . . REDACTED claimed the Americans were holding his incoming mail. REDACTED was defiant and asked agents to kill him.

DETAINEES 3962
Summary of FBI interview of detainee at Guantanamo Bay
01/21/03
Notes that "REDACTED complained about detainee treatment by the guards. REDACTED stated he had heard a detainee had been severely beaten by a guard and had died. REDACTED advised he heard the altercation between the detainee and the guards began when the guards disrespected the Koran. REDACTED complained the guards would take away the Koran as punishment and he believed this punishment was unjust as the Koran is extremely important to Muslim detainees. "

As you can read most are complaining at the fact they heard or claim they have been kicked and or beaten. The lack of physical evidance on their person hints at they are not telling the truth. Personally this is how I look at it. Despite claims by the bleeding hearts these people were caught on a batttle field, not in a uniform and shooting at American Troops. Give them their POW status because then we can legally line the bastards up against the wall and shoot them as spies. End of story. They give us no quarter so why in the hell do we give these towel wearing hate mongerers any mercy at all. An eye for an eye Ali hadji , and your head for our tooth is what I say.

Michael Jackson is loose

As I posted before I thought Michael Jackson , whom I feel is most definitely sick in the head if not a true pedophilia, will be found innocent. It does not matter if it is a hung jury or not the spin will be " He's Innocent". This is a man who is in his forties and sleeps with young boys from all over that he does not even know. Not that he should sleep with those he knows either, how gross is this.

As I said before I think that the mother of his children was bought off with visitation rights to the children, remember she did have a legal battle with Jackson just to see her kids. By the way what ever happened to this ....... Dropped perhaps. Then lets look at the staff that testified in his behalf. Hmmmmm ..... They all are pretty well financially secure now. Anyone want to know how domestic help makes six digit incomes? In know of no one around here in this field of work making that type of money. Oh wait yeah they are Jackson house hold staff that's why. ( he does treat his lackeys with respect .... NOT!).

Rumors are running rapid that after he gets off, that's of the charges you perverts, he may move to Europe ... Paris France that is, or possibly to Africa. A couple of good places for him. Seeing how the French are into this liberal progressive thinking let their sons sleep with the creep. Or in Africa where even the United Nations gets away with the rape of prepubescent girls and boys without any moral outrage.
If any of you reading this expect sympathy from me towards this creep FORGET IT. Michael Jackson is a pedophilia, O.J. Simpson murdered Nicole, and you skippy a straight that Osama "your mamma" towel wearing raghead mother $%^*&@#$ is the one behind 9 11.

Bill Maher

The self proclaimed progresive liberal thinker Bill "I love America" Maher has shown his contempt once again for the outstanding men and women in uniform. We should all recall how much Bill was impressed and respectful of the 9/11 highjackers and murders, as he called them brave people. His comment on the stupidity of attacking the Taliban in Afganistan, but now Bill talks about the average man and woman in the military with a smug comment that shows how he thinks he is so much superior to them.
"More people joined the Michael Jackson fan club," Maher said. "We've done picked all the low-lying Lynndie England (search) fruit, and now we need warm bodies."
Joined the Michael jackson Fan club? What absurd statement is this. Compareing those who bravely wake every morning to defend his right to be stupid with those sick individuals who support a pedifile. Then sugesting that everyone in uniform is like the "bad apple" Lynndie England. An absurdity to say the least. A untruth and flat out nonsense statement made in hopes of getting a few laughs from his better than thou group of fans, (who by the way mostly comprise of left leaning anti military/American buttheads).

What really gets me is that he marches around claiming he is a supporter of the troops but against the war.
In a statement released Monday night, Maher defended his support for the American armed forces.
"Anyone who knows anything about my views and has watched my show knows that I have nothing but the highest regard for the men and women serving this country around the world," Maher said.
I find this statement a bold faced lie , I would assert that if it were said " I support the police but I am not going to stop when the tell me to" to be in the same mind set. A statement that makes no intelligent thought.

Bill I have seen your show and you are not a supporter oif the men and women in uniform at all. You take every oppertunity to degrade them and try to down play any good thing they do. I want to know have you ever been in the military? Have you ever done a USO show to actually entertain someone? Besdies riding around in your expensive car through the mountains of California have you ever put a 40 pound alice pak on and marched up and down the hillsides you look at? Or better yet when was the last time you slept in a shelter half (a military tent for two men, each man carries half of it .. ie: shelter half) on a cold winter night near the DMZ (demilitarized zone) in South Korea? What third world nation have you been to to aid those who suffer? Have you ever pulled an injured civilian out of building rubble or a swollen stream. Taking food in by chopper to those who have been decimated by a natural disaster? I have and have two humanitarian awards for this Bill. I have spent time in third world nations bringing aid to those in need . As a fromer active duty Marine I spent time with men and women in the military and I can testify on a stack of Bibles or what every you liberals progressive thinkers need as to the ability , high morals and standards , and the flat out patriotism of these fine men and women in uniform you so relish in poking fun at.
I won't go as far as Rep. Spencer Bachus (search), R-Ala., who says "I think it borders on treason," Bachus said. "In treason, one definition is to undermine the effort or national security of our country. I don't want [Maher] prosecuted," Bachus said. "I want him off the air."
I definately do not support anything that Bill Maher says but I defend hios right to be stupid. I just refuse to watch or listen to him. My remote works and I feel the best thing we can do to show our disgust for his antimilitary speech is to cut his ratings off. Hit him in the pocket book like the Dixie Chicks were shown. You can say and express your ideas and hate filled retoric but we will hold you responsible for its content. Freedom of speech also carries responsibilities.

Who Does our Tax Money Support

Once again I ask who gets the benefits of our hard earned tax dollar. Is it the hard working LEGAL CITIZENS, who put in 80 plus hours a week in order to support their family and spouse who adds an additional 30 hours aweek in order to get health care? Is it those who hold that second job in order to make the dream of owning a home more plausible? Obviously not them. Check out this story.

Illegal immigrants get home loans, low interest even
By Chris Kelly · May 23, 2005 03:35 AM
From this:
Tuesday night [5/17/05], in a vote of 15-4, a majority of the Madison Common Council signed off on a resolution allowing undocumented workers to apply for low-interest housing loans through the city Community Development Block Grant programs...
These "undocumented workers" need to have an ITIN ("Individual Taxpayer Identification Number"), which is similar to a Social Security number. SSNs are, of course, not available to illegal aliens, but ITINs are.
Note that this isn't just an isolated case of a "liberal" city deciding to support illegal immigration. As with other issues related to illegal immigration, it gets worse the more you look into it.
The quasi-governmental Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority already guarantees home loans to illegal immigrants. Here's a quote from their director, Antonio Riley:
"We don't see what can be so controversial about helping people realize the dream of homeownership."
Thankfully, WI Sen. Glenn Grothman has introduced legislation that would put an end to Madison's loan program as well as WHEDA guaranteeing such loans:
[Grothman] says the idea is "almost comical". He says it's absurd to offer assistance to people who are in the country illegally. "What type of message are we sending to people?" He says. "We're telling the border guards we don't appreciate their job. We're telling the people that inspect local business that we don't care what they do. We're telling anybody who is waiting to get into this country legally that they're a bunch of suckers for trying to obey the law. It's absolutely comical."
Now, here's where the story gets even worse. Not only are Madison, the WHEDA, and several banks involved, but so is the (U.S.) federal government. And, they're working with the Mexican government to get loans to illegal aliens.
The FDIC is "independent agency of the federal government", and last year they continued a pilot program they started in 2003:
...Under this pilot program, which is located in Chicago, the FDIC, the Mexican Consulate, more than 63 banks, credit unions, community organizations and government agencies have come together to form this New Alliance Task Force... One of its efforts is reaching out to persons who send money in the form of remittances to other countries...
Bankers who comprise the Task Force also developed a new mortgage product intended for use by potential homeowners who pay taxes using Individual Tax Identification Numbers...
When asked about the propriety of the FDIC helping banks give loans to illegal aliens, an FDIC spokesman replied:
"A home might be the ultimate dream, as with any other family. The important thing is that they have access. There might be some criticism, but immigration issues are not our purview."
For more information, see:Who is the FDIC? And, why are they working with a foreign government to subvert our laws?"Tax-number loans help immigrants buy homes" (lists a few banks that give ITIN loans, there are 10 more listed here.)

Man I sure wish I didn't have to work a second job. Hell I wish I owned my own home and wasn't an apartment renter . But I got to keep paying those taxes so that all THESE ILLEGALS CAN BENIFIT FROM MY HARD WORK. I am glad to know someones dreams may come true.

More Thoughts

Having just completed a refreasher class in Counterterrorism from my favorite place. A home away from home ( http://www.k2ftc.com/ ), I have come to think about what is considered insurgent from terrorist. Is one mans Maryter anothers Patriot? Does the end justify the means? Just how vulnerable are we here at home, is the government doing all it can to keep us safe in our beds late at night when we dream of peace and illusions of equality.

A point of disagreement with the instructor on some of the origions of modern terrorism. I conclude that during the American Revolution certain proAmerican groups used certain terrorist tactice to exploit and advance the succession from England. The tar and feathering of judicials and tax collectors in order to get the point of a free america , along with the Boston Tea Party seem to me as acts of terrorism by definition. My instructor for the class argues it was guriella tactics. I concead these tactics on the actual battle fronts. There was no way the American Army could stand toe to toe with the British army. I do however support holeheartedly with what the Minute Men and Patriots did in order to form the greatest nation in History. My point being thewse men used terrorist tactics yet we call them Patriots/ Martyers.

Does the end justify the means? Well again this is all in perception of the events at hand. Was the dropping of the most powerful bomb ever developed on the cities of Nagasaki and Hiroshima endeing a long and bloody war justified? The immediate elimanation of thousands in the blink of an eye, with thousands and thousands more subject to cancer and radiation. Yes this was a case where the means justified the end result as it brought the Imperial Japanese to the table and surrender. If this had not been done the blood to be shed next in the invasion of Japan proper would have made Tarawa, Guadelcanal. Okinawa, and Iwo Jima a Sunday walk in the park ( in case you are not aware those were the bloodiest battles in the pacific during WWII).

Is our government doing all they can to protect us? I think that they are. The last terrorist attack in the United States was Sept. 11. Anyone with half a brian can see that by taking the fight to them has for now left the terrorist impotant in thier ability of command and communication world wide. Sure one can argue that in Iraq they are somewhat successful, but that is only do to the aid of our news agencies failure to report our military accomplishments.
Will ther be another major attack in America? Most definately, I can not fore see another possibility as you can never squash a belief or ideology totally. As long as it is written some where or spoken of it will always be around. History is recorded and thus ensureing evil thoughts and deeds for future generations to look upon.

Can we do something to help in protecting ourselves? Most definately! Be aware of your surroundings and whats going on in front of your nose. If the nieghbor goes on vacation do you not watch his/her home even if not asked to? I do, its part of knowing whats going on. If i see someone that just seems out of place I watch and see what they are up to. Most of the time it is nothing, but the day may come when it is something. What will I do? I like to think that I will act by calling the authorities and sounding the alarm before people are hurt. Then again I may freeze and be caught up in the situation as a victem. I certainly hope that my military training and continued classes in awareness will prevent this but who knows.
Take a firm stand in letting your politicians (really a bunch of buerocrats) that thier turn the other cheek polocies are not right and detrimental to our safety. Take a proactive stance and continue to support our troops and those who make it possible for them to do thier job as needed.
[ For them to do thier job, and it is a job that must get nasty and mean. Poloticians must allow them to take the kiddie gloves off and use all means neccessary with extreme prejudice, to accomplish the task at hand.]

Well thats what was on my mind this morning.

Our Worst Fears

Read thier plans and think hard.

Chechen Rebels Planned “Second Beslan”
From MosNews, "Chechen Rebels Planned “Second Beslan” - Prosecutor," with thanks to Jeffrey Imm.
Four Chechen rebels, detained in April 2005, planned to carry out a Beslan-style terrorist attack at a village in the republic of Ingushetia, Russian Deputy Prosecutor General Nikolai Shepel was quoted by RIA Novosti as saying.
A reserve group of 11 guerillas, led by warlord Aslanbeck Hatuev, would have seized a school in the republic neighboring North Ossetia on Sept. 1, 2004 if anything had gone wrong in Beslan. Like the Beslan hostage-takers, they were also trained by the Arabian mercenary Abu Dzeit who had worked out the plan of the seizure. He was killed in February 2005 by Russian special forces.
The group included fewer people than Beslan one because the village of Nesterovskaya, chosen by the rebels, is smaller. One of the four arrested rebels, Rezvan Hodzhiev had to work as a guide for the others, as he had studied in the school and knew its layout. The same role was played by Beslan hostage-taker Vladimir Hodov. Nikolai Shepel also reported that the investigation has already determined the names of some of the other members of the group.
After the terrorists’ leader realized that the Beslan seizure had been “successful”, the deputy prosecutor explained, he told the second group to halt preparations....
During the hostage-taking and the siege in September of last year 330 people, including 180 children, were killed in Beslan.

[Think hard people, this is a tactic that is not new at all. Back in the early 70's a group of PLO punks took over an elementary school and huddeled all the children in the gymnasium, executed the teachers and administration. Thier goal simple ... the release of political prisoners (criminals that the Israli gov't had locked up.) The no dealing with terrorist policy of the Isreal gov't caused the many IDF (Isreal Defense Force) to cry profusely as the children were executed, some in the gym and a couple outside for the cameras. Now we have all seen the television coverage of the tradgedy in Beslan, murder sadistic and rape /torture of the victems, what is to prevent them from taking an American school hostage and doing this as well here in our own back yard. Our children, your son's and daughters, Raped murdered and humiliated on our ever fair and indepth news covering broadcasting companies. ( News agencies that clearly have shown they are anti American in nature by thier constant exposer of false and made up stories.]

Sinn Fein Lobbyist Denied Entry into US
The Washington Times/AP has reported that Rita O’Hare, who has been Sinn Fein’s senior lobbyist in the US since 1998, was denied her “special” visa to reenter the United States after a recent trip to Ireland. O’Hare, who is reported to be a fugitive from British authorities because she jumped bail in Northern Ireland there more than 30 years ago while awaiting trial for attempted murder of British soldiers, should require what would be a waiver of inadmissibility to enter the US under the US Immigration and Nationality Act. It appears the Department of Homeland Security has decided to not grant that waiver again, at least for the moment. (The propriety of O’Hare, arguably a fugitive suspect terrorist alien, ever being granted such a waiver of inadmissibility in the first place won’t be discussed here.)

Federal Judge Dismisses 15 Convictions in Important Lazarenko Money Laundering Case
Yesterday, a federal judge threw out 15 of the 29 convictions in the case against former Ukraine Prime Minister Pavlo Lazarenko. The judge reaffirmed 14 of the convictions, mostly for money laundering and interstate transportation of stolen property. The same judge threw out 24 charges of the original 53-count indictment during the trial last year. The case, an extremely complex matter also involving Lazarenko's claims of assassination attempts against him and his claims for political asylum, is important for two reasons. First, Lazarenko was the first former head of state tried and convicted in the U.S. since Panamanian dictator Manuel Noriega's conviction in 1992, and thus the case strained U.S-Ukraine relations. Second, and more importantly in the terrorism context, this was the first money laundering conviction in the U.S. in which the alleged crimes took place outside the U.S., with the proceeds then deposited in San Francisco financial institutions, thereby supporting money laundering charges in the eyes of federal prosecutors. As one excellent article worth reading states, "If Lazarenko was convicted, it would give U.S. attorneys the authority to judge whether anyone anywhere had committed fraud or extortion under their own nation's legal code, and then to hold them accountable in U.S. courts, as long as their money had moved through ubiquitous dollar accounts." The convictions caused officials of foreign financial institutions to voice concern over extraterritoriality of the Bank Secrecy Act, as amended by the USA Patriot Act. One other interesting point about this case: the U.S. Attorney who gave the final go-ahead to indict Lazarenko was Robert Mueller, now the FBI Director. This continues to be an interesting case to follow as Lazarenko's attorney prepares an appeal for the federal appeals court, where he will certainly challenge the theory underlying the money laundering convictions.

[Don't get me wrong he is a bad man and needs to prosecuted but here we cross a line that I do not think this country is ready for. This line is part of the globilization process that can lead to American citizens being picked up off our streets and prosecuted by foriegn governments for political and imaginary social crimes.]

Just a few things going on. Lots of court cases that the press won't report or briefly mention with no follow up. Amazing that they just don't get the picture. If we do not go after these thugs/punks/criminals thier preciouse first admendment is at risk and the fourth estate will no longer have the self appointed liberties they enjoy.

Preventing a Nightmare Scenario: Terrorist Attacks Using Russian Nuclear Weapons and Materialsby Ariel Cohen, Ph.D.Backgrounder #1854
May 20, 2005

Since the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, Americans have been lucky that there have not been more atrocities on U.S. soil. However, the enemy, while weakened, is far from destroyed.
Osama bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri continue to issue threats against America from their hideouts. Their strength and support base, while diminished, is not eliminated. Other terrorist organizations inspired by radical Islamist ideology are still at large in Europe, the Middle East, the Caucasus, Central Asia, the Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia, and (presumably) the Americas, and some of them are willing to use weapons of mass destruction (WMD) to bring down America.
Recent reports about intelligence failures before 9/11 and the Iraq war indicate that there are numerous issues regarding U.S. strategic adversaries that the intelligence community did not handle adequately. Under the new leadership of Directors John Negroponte and Porter Goss, the intelligence community must address these challenges with the innovation and creativity that the issues deserve.
Court proceedings and intelligence debriefings have indicated that al-Qaeda and other terrorist organizations planned their operations for up to six years before execution. Several attacks using chemical weapons in Great Britain, France, and Jordan were disrupted just before execution. The current hiatus in attacks against the U.S. homeland may be caused by preparation for massive attacks, possibly involving weapons of mass destruction.
To prevent the “sum of all fears” and to counter nuclear terrorism, the United States should:
Expand its global intelligence network;
Boost cooperation with law enforcement and intelligence communities around the world;
Provide ample funding to and expand the Proliferation Security Initiative (PSI), a global effort that aims to stop shipments of WMD, their delivery systems, and related materials;
Expand the Nunn–Lugar Cooperative Threat Reduction Program;
Neutralize those involved in WMD terrorist operations;
Design a supporting public affairs component of the U.S. anti-terrorism policy;
Launch a political warfare component via the intelligence community; and
Consider instituting a monetary reward program for interception of proliferation operations and nuclear terrorist activities.
Radical Islam’s “Religious Duty”
Osama bin Laden has called using weapons of mass destruction against the U.S. a “religious duty.” He has also declared that undermining America’s economic power is his strategic objective. Bin Laden did not confirm or deny pursuit of such weapons in press interviews, but a body of evidence indicates that he has actively sought them.
For example, Ahmad al Fadl, a defector from al-Qaeda, testified in U.S. court that in 1994 he was tasked with procuring a radioactive material, apparently highly enriched uranium (HEU), from a South African source.[1] Ayman al-Zawahiri was spotted visiting Russia for six months in 1996—ostensibly to assist the Chechens to escalate their hostilities against Russia—and spoke publicly about the ease of procuring nuclear materials from the former Soviet republics. In 2002, Abu Zubaydah told interrogators that al-Qaeda knew how to build “dirty bombs” and where to get material for them.[2]
There are also media reports of al-Qaeda buying or stealing up to 20 nuclear warheads from the former Soviet republics, bin Laden providing $3 million and large commercial amounts of opium to Chechens in exchange for nuclear weapons or material, and four Turkmen nuclear scientists working to create an al-Qaeda weapon.[3] The veracity of these reports cannot be independently evaluated.[4] In February 2005, Director of Central Intelligence Porter Goss testified that al-Qaeda might possess radioactive material of Russian or Soviet origin.
In 2003, Sheikh Nasir bin Hamid al-Fahd, a prominent Saudi cleric close to al-Qaeda, provided a comprehensive religious opinion (fatwa) justifying the use of nuclear weapons against the United States, even it killed up to 10 million Americans, under the pretext that the United States is to blame for the deaths of 10 million Muslims.[5] This cleric and two of his colleagues—Ali al-Khudayr and Ahmad al-Khaladi—have provided “religious” justifications for bin Laden to create mayhem. Bin Laden portrays himself as a pious Muslim who protects and defends other Muslims and wages a jihad (holy war) in their name.[6]
Al-Qaeda is an organization that is religiously and ideologically committed to the destruction of the United States and Israel, the subjugation of the West, and the overthrow of existing Muslim and Arab regimes throughout the greater Middle East and beyond—from Nigeria to Saudi Arabia to Indonesia. Its proclaimed goal is establishment of a caliphate (khilafa)—a militarized dictatorship based on the Shari’a (holy law) and dedicated to conquest of the non-Muslim world (Dar al-Harb, literally “Land of the Sword”).
Other radical Islamist organizations share these far-reaching goals and anti-American agendas, including the Lebanese Shi’a Hezballah and Pakistani Lashkar-e-Tayyiba. Lashkar-e-Tayyiba has links to al-Qaeda, technological sophistication and personnel, and international connections reaching into the U.S. that could help them acquire WMD capabilities.[7] For example:
Hezballah operates Al-Manar, a satellite TV channel, and recently tested a military unmanned aerial vehicle, which flew over Israel. Such low-flying vehicles can deliver warheads to targets otherwise protected against air attacks.
Hamas, another radical Islamist terrorist organization, succeeded in developing rockets and producing Kassam short-range missiles in the technologically primitive conditions of Gaza’s metal workshops and garages.
Other Palestinian radical organizations have utilized hot air balloons and hang gliders, which can be used to deliver a crude bomb or radiation dispersion device (RDD or “dirty bomb”).[8]
All of these organizations attract a number of engineers and technicians who could facilitate their homegrown nuclear weapons programs. With considerable financial resources at their disposal, they can also recruit engineers and scientists from the thousands who have received education in related fields in Russia, the West, and the Muslim world. Such clandestine programs would be assisted by the wealth of information about nuclear matters available on the Internet.
Furthermore, radical Islamists have ideological, organizational, and operational connections to the military and intelligence establishments of Iran and Pakistan. Iran is suspected by both the Bush Administration and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) of managing a clandestine nuclear weapons program. Pakistan is a nuclear power, and anti-American Islamists strongly influence its nuclear establishment and military and intelligence services.
For example, Pakistan was the source of Ahmed Qadir Khan’s global nuclear proliferation network, which supplied technology to North Korea, Libya, Iran, and possibly other countries.[9] And there is strong suspicion that prior to 9/11, Sultan Bashir-ud-Din Mehmood and Abdul Majid, two senior nuclear scientists from Pakistan who used to work for Khan, traveled to Afghanistan to offer their expertise to Osama bin Laden.[10]
Experts believe that terrorists are willing to inflict massive casualties using WMD, capable of doing so despite the technical difficulties of executing such an attack, and capable of either stealing or building a nuclear bomb. The IAEA has documented cases of HEU theft.[11]
Nuclear terrorism presents at least four distinct kinds of threats:
RDDs powered by conventional explosives;
Attacks on nuclear installations such as nuclear power plants;
Seizure and detonation of intact nuclear weapons; and
Theft or purchase of nuclear materials to build a nuclear bomb.[12]
The Russian Problem
As sources of unsecured nuclear weapons and material, Russia and the other former Soviet republics remain major proliferation concerns for a number of reasons. First, the Soviet Union was an empire with a strong external perimeter and weak internal safeguards. While the Soviet regime tightly controlled everything that moved across its borders until the late 1980s, internal safety, security measures, and bureaucratic culture were inadequate. This was demonstrated by a series of technological catastrophes in the 1980s and 1990s, the most famous and dangerous of which was the 1986 meltdown of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor in Ukraine.
Nuclear, chemical, and biological material storage facilities often were—and still are—protected by nothing more than a padlock, an impoverished conscript, or a retirement-age guard. Moreover, corruption among general officers, mid-rank officers, and officials is still rampant, and law enforcement is highly selective.
Some generals were removed from the ranks during the Yeltsin Administration (1992–1999) for corruption, gross negligence, and political involvement. However, many others who were no less guilty remained in the ranks. Under the Putin presidency, the Kremlin has declared that the military reform is completed, and even fewer officers were relieved of duty despite major military disasters, such as the sinking of the nuclear submarine Kursk and failed missile tests during major maneuvers. There is a pervasive sense in the military and security services that nobody is responsible for anything and that justice, accountability, and responsibility are not a part of the bureaucratic culture.
Corruption is pervasive. Russian officers and officials have been accused of selling weapons to Chechen militants, allowing armed Chechens to pass unmolested through roadblocks en route to terrorist attacks, attempting to sell nuclear materials from decommissioned submarine reactors in the Northern Fleet, selling vital components of military systems and vehicles, and illegally selling food rations and supplies, leading to malnutrition among the ranks. In such an environment, the sale of nuclear equipment and material—even the sale of working individual weapons—is entirely feasible.
Three contributing factors may facilitate the purchase of nuclear weapons, material, and components in Russia: anti-Americanism, the growing Wahhabi–Salafi influence, and organized crime.
Anti-Americanism pervades the Russian elite from the top down and is escalating in the media. Every international event, from the bombing of Serb forces in Kosovo to NATO enlargement to granting asylum to Chechen militant leaders in the United States and the United Kingdom is interpreted as directed against Russia and aimed at undermining its power.
Most recently, the Russian leadership and media have characterized U.S. support of bloodless revolutions in Georgia and Ukraine as attempts to push Russia out of its sphere of influence in the Commonwealth of Independence States and to install pro-American regimes in these former Soviet republics. A former senior Russian official stated that “U.S. behavior [vis-à-vis Russia] is not that of a friend, but of an adversary.… While we need to talk to the U.S., we need to keep in mind that it is an enemy.”[13] This attitude is echoed in an incessant stream of media commentary and biased reporting that translates into the results of numerous opinion polls in which the U.S. consistently comes out as Russia’s primary adversary.
The Russian military forces’ posture, new weapons system development (including nuclear and missile modernization), military maneuvers, and foreign de facto alliances (especially with China and Iran) all indicate that Russia views the United States as an unfriendly power. Such anti-Americanism may facilitate illicit transactions involving nuclear weapons or components in which the Russian seller or thief understands that the U.S. is the likely target.
The increasing influence of Salafi–Wahhabi Islam in Russia, home to about 20 million Muslims, may facilitate penetration of the Russian military– industrial complex by collaborators and sympathizers of terrorist organizations or the use by such organizations of Russian Muslims as intermediaries in illicit transactions. Pro-Salafi organizations and preachers in Russia operate with few restrictions. Leading Russian experts on Islam have stated that Saudi Arabian funding sources expend large amounts of hard currency in Russia to buy political influence among politicians, journalists, and other members of the Russian elite.[14]
Finally, the influence of organized crime remains pervasive. Russian and post-Soviet organized criminal enterprises are more sophisticated and command more educated personnel than almost any other organized crime structures in the world. Recently, the Prosecutor General of Russia stated that 500 large enterprises are controlled by organized crime, including major oil and gas supply and transportation ventures generating hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue. In many cases, organized crime has merged with legal business and has access to state enterprises, government officials, and a broad range of international contacts. Russian organized crime may be the conduit through which terrorists acquire and ship nuclear components or weapons to their final destinations.
Clearly, the safety and security of nuclear weapons, technology, and materials in the former Soviet Union leave much to be desired. While strategic warheads and missiles on active duty may be reasonably secure, the same cannot be said about tactical nuclear weapons, decommissioned weapons, and stockpiles of highly enriched uranium and plutonium, which can be used to produce improvised nuclear weapons. For example, terrorists could assemble a rather primitive weapon modeled after the bombs that the U.S. used at the end of World War II. Radioactive material from the former Soviet Union—either from nuclear weapons or raw materials for production of weapons—could be used in an RDD.
The Challenges of Non-Proliferation
To diminish proliferation threats from Russia and post-Soviet space, Presidents George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush undertook a number of steps to secure Soviet–Russian WMD, including the Nunn–Lugar Cooperative Threat Reduction Program and pursuing non-proliferation projects with the Yeltsin and Putin governments. This cooperation seems to be working to some degree.
Granted, the U.S. has serious misgivings regarding Russian transfer of light-water reactor technology to Iran, since it may be a cover for more ambitious nuclear weapons manufacturing, but there is little evidence in open sources that Russia proliferates nuclear weapon technology to countries of concern, such as North Korea and Iran. If anything, Pakistan seems to be the main culprit, followed by North Korea and possibly China.[15] Even African countries such as Ghana and the Democratic Republic of Congo are potential sources of radioactive material for dirty bombs.[16] Still, Russia and former Soviet republics top the list of potential proliferation sources due to their geographic size and the sheer number of nuclear weapons (which some estimate in excess of 40,000) and hundreds of tons of weapons-grade material that they possess.
The Russian stockpile suffers from a number of security issues that need to be addressed, including:
The lack of reliable accounting and electronically updated (and up-to-date) databases that cover all weapons systems, including tactical nuclear arms, shells, and warheads;
The mystery surrounding so-called suitcase bombs;[17]
Poor security of some nuclear weapons systems, especially tactical and stored/decommissioned charges;
The lack of modern means of monitoring, such as closed-circuit TV and motion sensors linked to a computerized monitoring system;
Inadequate security of highly enriched uranium and plutonium stockpiles; and
Insufficient security of radioactive materials used for research, medical, and industrial purposes.
In terms of probability, an RDD attack is easier to execute than a full-scale nuclear fission explosion. As for construction of a nuclear device, an HEU bomb is easier to manufacture than a plutonium bomb, and a crude improvised bomb is easier to build than a military-grade weapon.
That said, however, there is more than a theoretical possibility that terrorists could buy a working warhead and deliver it to the U.S. in one of the millions of shipping containers that enter the country without examination by U.S. Customs. Terrorists could also smuggle such a weapon through a porous land or maritime border, in addition to which they could smuggle components and assemble the weapon in the United States. In terms of who could execute such an attack, al-Qaeda, Hezballah, and Lashkar-e-Tayyiba each may have the necessary technical expertise and motivation to undertake it.
After 9/11, the U.S. cannot view non-proliferation efforts as an “either/or” proposition between focusing on proliferating states and focusing on terrorist organizations. Ignoring either could prove deadly.
Russia and the post-Soviet states deserve as much watching as other potential sources of proliferation such as Pakistan, Iran, and North Korea. Yet the terrorists have already demonstrated their ingenuity by using civilian airplanes and box cutters as weapons of mass destruction. Cooperation with Russian, Ukrainian, Central Asian, and other governments and security services is necessary, but this is difficult for the reasons previously described, including anti-Americanism at the highest levels, corruption, and inefficiency. Nevertheless, realistic policy options need to be developed to prevent nuclear terrorism from taking place.
What the U.S. Should Do
To stem the growing nuclear threat facing the United States, it is imperative that policymakers:
Develop a comprehensive global intelligence network from the current cooperative bilateral arrangements with European, Middle Eastern, South Asian, and East Asian states. Such a network should mesh intelligence gathering, counter-proliferation measures, and special operations to thwart proliferation. It would provide ample warnings to neutralize terrorist organizations at the early planning stages of a WMD attack. The U.S. intelligence community should boost cooperation with law enforcement and foreign intelligence communities to include joint counterterrorist operations. Such operations would include deep, on-site, and long-term penetration of terrorist organizations and neutralizing those involved in WMD terrorist operations through covert action.
Task the Pentagon with developing deterrence against high-value and symbolic targets that terrorists and their sponsors value.
Provide ample funding for joint non-proliferation programs, such as the Proliferation Security Initiative.
Cooperate with Russia and the other former Soviet republics by expanding Nunn–Lugar funding while boosting the accountability and transparency of these programs.
Design a supporting public affairs component of the U.S. anti-terrorism policy through the State Department Public Diplomacy structure, through the Board of International Broadcasting, and through the nonprofit sector to explain the importance of joint anti-terrorism actions to the Russian elites, media, and general public.
Launch a political warfare component, through the intelligence community, to encourage moderate Muslim clerics to issue fatwas forbidding terrorism in general and attacks using WMD in particular. This component should be expanded to include Muslim media in major markets, such as Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Consider a program instituting monetary rewards for interception of proliferation operations and nuclear terrorist activities through U.S. law enforcement and intelligence organizations without creating a prize for unscrupulous foreign officials to simulate such activities.
Conclusion
Fighting against WMD-armed terrorist groups is possibly more challenging than any Cold War task. During the Cold War, there were only two blocs— NATO and the Warsaw Pact—led by strong nation-states with strong chains of command. Now there are multiple players, including transnational movements and other diffuse non-state entities driven by ideologies and religious interpretation that many Americans do not comprehend.
The United States and its allies have no alternative but to combat and destroy these evildoers while preventing them from obtaining and using weapons of mass destruction.

Communists don't get it do they

A recent articale in the Worker, a communist posting just does not understand the nature of humans at all. Well communism in its pure form anyone will see can not work with humanity for the fact humanity is not perfect nor equal and therefor can not happen do to basic jelousies and human nature. Any way the following artical is about immigration and how the mean American white male is surppressing the hispanic migrant (THE ILLEGAL ALIEN WHO BREAKS THE LAW TO COME HERE.).

Immigrants under attack, fighting back
By Richard Duncan
Published May 19, 2005 10:57 PM
“We’ve come a long way.” That phrase has been used many times in conversations about bigotry and racism in the U.S. If the ruling class and the bureaucracy that serves them have their way, immigrants will be taking giant steps backwards. Attacks against immigrants are coming from every angle.
There is the extra-legal Minutemen group in Arizona terrorizing people coming from a Mexico devastated economically by NAFTA to look for a better life here. If anybody has a right to live and work in the Southwestern states, it is the Mexicans from whom those lands were stolen and the Native peoples from this side of the border.

[ STOLEN LANDS? I DON'T THINK SO. TEXAS FAUGHT FOR FREEDOM FROM UNDER OPPRESSION BY THE MEXICAN GOVERNMNET OF SANTA ANNA. THE MEXICAN AMERICAN WAR ENDED WITH MEXICO CEADING TERRITORY TO AMERICA AND THE SPANISH AMERICAN WAR ENDED WITH SPAIN CEADING WORLD WIDE TERRITORY AND LANDS TO AMERICA. NATIVES WELL SAYING WE STOLE IS NOT A TRUE DISCRIPTION OF WHAT HAPPENED. AT FIRST TREATIES AND PEACEFUL COEXISTANCE WAS PRESENT WITH A FEW BAD BLOOD INCCEDENTS ON BOTH SIDES. THE ACT OF BUFFALO HUNTING AND INTOLERANCE FOR NATIVE RELIGION BROUGHT ON A LOT OF PROBLEMS WHICH ENDED UP IN WAR.]

California governor and Nazi-son Arnold Schwarzenegger lent his vile support to these racists in Arizona. “Look, they’ve cut down the crossing of illegal immigrants by a huge percentage. The whole system is set up to really invite people to come in here illegally, and that has to stop,” he said on the “John & Ken Show” on KFI-AM on April 28.
Schwarzenegger had called earlier for “closing the borders in California and all across Mexico and in the United States” because he thinks “it is just unfair to have all those people coming across, have the borders open the way it is, and have this kind of lax situation.”
“It’s gratifying to see that elected officials are responding to the will of the people,” said Chris Simcox, a racist Minute man organizer. The governor has no problem with the Minutemen’s plan to expand their patrols to California. This nexus bet ween the state and extra-legal groups conjures up images of night-riders, among them sheriffs and mayors, terrorizing Black people.

[CALLING GOVENOR SCHWARZENEGGER A NAZI OR INMPLING HE IS BECAUSE HIS LOYALTIES GO TO THE COUNTRY THAT HAS GIVEN HIM HIS WAY OF LIFE IS PURE AND SIMPLE JELOUSEY.]

Using the law against immigrants
There are also legal attacks. The Patriot Act has been used to attack immigrants of South Asian and Middle Eastern origin. The rulers hide behind “national security” to imprison, torture and deport immigrants for alleged offenses, starting from simple violations of immigration laws to undisclosed offenses.

[ WELL ISN'T THE LAW SUPPOSED TO BE USED AGAINST THOSE WHO BREAK THE LAW? AS TO THE TORTURE ASPECT, BUNK , BUL, AND LIES. DETAINING SOMEONE AND QUESTIONING THEM IS FAR FROM TORTURE I DEMAND THAT THESE BONE HEADS EWHO CLAIM TORTURE GO AND SPEND 24 HOURS WITH ONE OF THIER MORE LIVELY COUNTRIES THEY ARE SIMPATHETIC WITH AND GET A FIRST HAND LOOK AT TORTURE....SYRIA, SUDAN, SAUDI ARABIA, A RUSSIAN GULOG PERHAPS IN THE MIDDLE OF SIBERIA.]

Attached to the latest $82-billion appro priations bill for additional war spending was the “Real ID Act.” The ID act or drivers’ license bill, as it is also called, goes into effect in 2008. It is an anti-immigrant bill that requires uniform standards for state drivers’ licenses.

[ANTI IMMIGRANT BECAUSE THE LAW IS TO BE ENFORCED AND ONLY CITIZENS AND LEGAL ... YES LEGAL ALIENS WIL BE ALLOWED TO DRIVE?]

In effect this will be a national ID card that lists everyone who tries to drive legally in a national data base. States will also be required to save copies of identification documents for 7 to 10 years, along with facial image scans of each license holder. Three years from now a federally approved ID card will be required to open a bank account, travel on an airplane, or take advantage of any government service.

[WELL SHOULD YOU NOT BE A LAW ABIDING CITIZEN WHO PAYS TAXES TO GET THE BENIFIETS OF GOVERNMENT SERVICES?]

Any way the artical continues to spout ddrivel and nonsense that is pro ILLEGAL ALIEN over the legal persons of this country . With the lame idea being continually thrown in that America bad because we want to take care of our own first.

Double Standard for sure

The following articale from Fox News discusses the double standard in punishment for men and women who commite a sex crime with minors. Anyone who pays attention at all will agree that there is a definate double standard for women who are in a position of authority and have sex with a underage male. An effect that as a society we have let get out of control. one can say its the old Mrs. Robinson effect.

Teacher Sex Scandals: Double Standard?
Thursday, May 19, 2005

Cases of female teachers caught having sex with male students have made the headlines recently. But some experts think it's only the tip of the iceberg as they contend boys are less likely to report sex crimes than girls.
"Boys just live in a world, because of our society, that doesn't really code sexual exploitation of them by a female as very serious," said Hofstra University professor Charol Shakeshaft.
Click in the box to the right to watch a video report by FOX News' Jonathan Serrie.
What experts debate is whether that social double standard translates into a legal one. Some legal analysts say the courts are more likely to show mercy to female teachers than their male counterparts
When it comes to sentencing for these kind of crimes, men and women are not created equally. Women get predominantly lighter sentences than men do for child molestation and for abusing children in a sexual way," said FNC legal analyst Lis Wiehl.
Nicole Pomerleau (search), a high-school English teacher in Charlotte, N.C., admitted she had sex with a 16-year-old male student. She did not get prison time and did not have to register as a sex offender.
Pomerleau's attorney said her sentence of two years' probation was not lenient given the circumstances of this consensual, albeit illegal, relationship.
"We pled guilty to a felony. We forfeited a teaching certificate. And she forfeited her way of life," said defense attorney Robert DeCurtins.
Victims-rights advocates argue that sex with a minor is a serious crime, regardless of the gender of those involved.
"I think the punishment should be the same. It doesn't matter if you are a woman or a man teacher. It doesn't matter if you are a priest or a soccer coach. The penalty should be the same, man or woman," said John Walsh (search), host of "America's Most Wanted."

It is a problem and as a Male I am positive that any young male who has sex with his female teacher/ nieghbors wife, ect is not going to tell except to his friends about his conquests. It is treated more as a right of passage for a young man to have sex with an older woman then as a crime. This is how it is looked at and treated. Even in when it is reported and brought to court. The judicial bench male and female look at this as a right of passage and hand out a double standard on punishment. Now if a Male teacher has sex with a young female student he is a perverted old man and is put away for a while and registerdd as a sex offender. In Mary Loutrino's case many people around the nation do not think of her as apervert (which she is ... com'on she had sex with a 12 year old thats sick!), but a romanticly misguided woman in which true love prevailed with her marriage last night to her victem.
Any man who marries a woman 20 years his juinor he is looked at as desperate and going through a midlife crisis. So is there a double standard , YES.

SUBNOTE. any RICH elder woman who are looking for a middle aged man in good shape, cute and cuddely stud write me ..... lol
