Colorado State Senator Ron Tupa announced that his wife , Kara Miller Tupa has become a lobbyist for the state labor department. Since his wife now is a lobbyist a letter was sent around to other state Senators letting them know that Tupa would recuse himself from any bill his wife supported or opposed. The reason being he would like to make sure there is no appearance of impropriety.

Ok nice gesture and good thinking at first by Sen. Tupa. Now lets look at his job. Senator Ron Tupa was elected to represent his constituants on ALL matters brought before the State Senate. Not the ones he chooses to look at or vote on. His job is to make and amend bills to be voted on, then vote on into law. Not to sit on his backside , collect a taxpayers check and say "sorry can't make a decision on this because my wife is opposeing it"

His wife needs to find a NEW JOB! The conflict is the lack of Tupa to do his job. Just another fine example of how these elected officials are afraid of work and responsibility. Another dodge by yet another so called represenetive of the people.

It is WAY PASSED TIME that we the constituants vote these jerks out of office and get some real representation in our government. Not by those who only want to wield power and abuse our faith and trust.
