A very bad decision, and a selfish one to boot. Looking for the sympathy vote for his wifes affliction is WRONG. A terrible thing that Mrs. Edwards has, breast cancer that has moved into her bones. This in itself is a major distraction to life in general.

How can someone expect to concentrate on leading the free world when they are worried about thier loved one? I do not want to make light of Mrs. Edwards cancer but I just cannot fathom his wanting or even thinking of going on with running for office. The pressure of being President should he be elected is enormous as it is but to throw in the fact his wife may die is more then one should, or can bear.

This will be heavy on his mind and keep him from thinking straight when it comes to protecting this country. He will be swayed by all sorts of special interest oppertunists who are seeking monies or favor with promises of miracle cures.

The decision for him to continue to run for election is just plain selfish!
