Well I called it among many others. Right after Mike Nifong started running his mouth about his case. The facts did not add up. The time line was wrong. Then on top of it it was political season.

District Attorney Mike Nifong will be disbarred for his disastrous prosecution of three Duke University lacrosse players falsely accused of rape, a disciplinary committee decided.

The committee, after deliberating for a little more than an hour on Saturday, unanimously agreed with the bar on almost every charge—including the most serious allegations—that Nifong's actions involved "dishonesty, fraud, deceit and misrepresentation."

Let this be a warning of things to come. Let those who are elected to office find out that they can not do whatever they want and abuse the offices that they are sworn to uphold.
