What Schools/ Racist Factories
What an eye opener on Michelle Malkins blog. She reveals how our hard earned tax money is going in grants to racist factories hiding under the banner of charter schools. This is a must read and topic of mass letters and phone calls to your senators and congressmen.
AZTLAN ACADEMY: COMING TO YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD?
By Michelle Malkin · July 12, 2006 11:40 AM
So, Karl Rove gave his "We are all Americans" speech to the National Council of La Raza--The Race--yesterday. Today, my syndicated column digs into the millions of dollars in Bush administration federal education grants The Race has received for its nationwide charter school initiative.
It’s bad enough the White House lent its prestige to The Race’s annual conference. But did you know the Bush administration has forked over millions of federal tax dollars directly to The Race?
According to GOP Rep. Charlie Norwood of Georgia, The Race snapped up $15.2 million in federal grants last year alone and more than $30 million since 1996. Undisclosed amounts went to get-out-the-vote efforts supporting La Raza political positions. The U.S. Department of Education funneled nearly $8 million in taxpayer grants to the group for a nationwide charter schools initiative.
You may remember the reconquista school in Los Angeles whose principal teaches ethnic separatism along with Aztec math. The Race was a co-sponsor of that school with extremist activists from MECHA.
Her artical goes on to give more examples of the hatred and racism that is being forced fed into the mush minds of Latino youth by self centered, American Hateing, gimmie gimmie gimmie extreme organizations who are subverting and trying to remake the United States into another third world barrio.
But what is really a pisser to me is how here in Colorado we are trying very hard to set things right for AMERICAN CITIZENS who are carring the burden of illegals. As a grass roots movement ... DEFEND COLORADO NOW has forced the state Legislature into action on passing and trying to enforce the LAW on who is eledgable for the socialist social programs we are paying for. Now it is brought to national attention on how a racist factory is here in Colorado in Pueblo itself.
The Dolores Huerta prep school ..... http://www.dhphs.org
This school is based on tax payers money giving special treatment to minorites over everbody. With special incentives that the averags Coloradian does not get.
Two Year College Degree (Associates Degree) at No Cost to students and families
Successful graduates are Guaranteed Admission to Any Pueblo University or College in Colorado
Flexible School Schedule (Junior and Senior Year)
Distance and On-Line Courses available from Universities Nationwide
These great programs are not available to all Colorado students at all. Many families still have to scrape and save to afford lunches. Tbhey do not get flexable school hours to match their schedule but have to for those students who can finds jobs, try to work out flexable work hours to meet thier educational programs. Not the other way around.
This is just amazing as thousands of students in Colorado do not get this extra effort in their development, especially not at tax payers expense. Defend Colorado Now needs to look into this school and all others who think that we the Colorado Tax payer wants to favor one group over another when it comes to educating the young.
