Churchill to face the music
The moment of truth comes today. Today is the day that the Board of Regents of C.U. decide to keep him or fire him.
The charges:
1) Fabrication, falsely accuse the U.S. Army of using smallpox as a weapon of genocide against American Indians
2) Plagiarism, Churchill commits plagiarism by publishing the work of others as his own.
3) Mischaracterizatin of two important pieces of federal Indian law. The Dawes Act of 1887 and the Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990.
4) Misrepresentation of his American Indian ancestry.
All of these Ward Churchill either lied about or twisted to suit his own adgenda. Now he faces dismissal. However the ACLU (American Communist Liberation Unit)threatens to come to his defense. This should indicate Wards guilt right off the bat. The question is simple. Will the Board of Regents do the right thing and fire this fraud, or will they cave to the extremists and their scewed interrpretation of things.
