Columnist Paul Campos: Is a laughable assertion
Rocky Mountain columnist Paul Campos in his recent column asserts that Hillary Clinton is laughable in her statment of being a commander and chief. What is laughable is that the Rocky keeps this arrogant leftist on staff.
Campos goes after Hillary and tries to highlight her failings. Something that is not hard to do. Then he attacks John McCain for his correct stance on the war in Iraq. Here is where Campos becomes the laughable part of his own story. He states the same old left leaning antiwar rhetoric we here from the code pink crowd.
"Let's review here. This week marks the fifth anniversary of the Bush administration launching one of the biggest foreign policy disasters in the nation's history - the invasion and occupation of Iraq. That ongoing adventure has wrecked a country, killed hundreds of thousands of people, cost hundreds of billions dollars (and eventually perhaps $3 trillion), and created the world's largest refugee crisis (2 million Iraqis have fled or been driven from their homes).
John McCain was and is an enthusiastic supporter of the decision to invade and occupy Iraq. Hillary Clinton's most important contribution to American foreign policy, so far, was her decision to vote to authorize all this - something the majority of her fellow Democrats in Congress refused to do. And she remained a prominent cheerleader for the occupation for many months after it began.
Leave aside Clinton's dubious claim that she has more relevant experience than Obama for the office of commander in chief. After all, even if this were the case, we care about experience only because we believe that, on average, experience helps people do a better job.
In other words, what really matters isn't experience but performance. And in regard to the biggest foreign policy issue of their careers, the performance of Clinton and McCain has been catastrophic."
What is funny is that while he tries to knock any and all things done by the two other presidential candidates, he fails to bring forth one thing his candidate of OBAMA has done to show his experiance and leadership. Not a single thing can be brought foward as Obama has nothing to offer or bring to the table other then platitudes of hope and change. Not one real viable plan of action.
Again another suppoedly enlightened thinking progressive who lets his hatred for conservatism block any workable ideas on foriegn policy. Paul Campos is supposed to be an educated man. However his retread of leftist propaganda, lack of supporting evidance, and missing logic shows his ignorance on foriegn policy. This ignorance is only a copy of the ignorance being shoveled off at us by a man who wants to be president.
Granted Hillary has very little experiance in the Senate on thes matters. Her time as first lady though has given her much more education in dealing on a world level then that of a racist preacher who is antisemite and anti white. Barack Hussien Obama lacks not only experiance but knowledge in the affairs of state.
