Obama seeks Military support
Presidential candidate barrack Hussien Obama seeks the military man and womans vote in the upcoming election. Why? Well this is what he says:
Obama in Colorado Springs: Precisely because I have not served in uniform, I am somebody who strongly believes that I have to earn the trust of the men and women in uniform. I don't presume that from the day I'm sworn in, every single serviceman or woman suddenly says, "This guy knows what he's doing." I have to display those qualities of leadership in listening, in standing up for our military on some of the critical issues we've talked about on delivering on my promises so that relationships and trust are built and so that people who are serving in our Armed Services feel like, "You know what, this is a guy who's looking out for us and he's not looking just to score some cheap political points."
So Obama wants the military to think he is a leader. Well then Barrack show some leadership and faith in the fine good men and women in uniform.
DO NOT CUT BACK ON THE HEAD COUNT! Meaning increase the size of the military. Support the research and development of new weapion systems that will aid them in combat.

You want the support from them then give them the ability to do their job. Destroy the enemy! Do not pander to the enemy and give them legal rights that even under the Geneva convention do not exisit. Combatants captured on a field of battle are not ENTITLED to Constitutional rights.
Do not have comanders rethinking their battle plans at the last minute worring about whether or not the have to mirandise the enemy first.
Instead of knocking McCain for his legislation for G.I. benifiets, get on board and cooperate.
Do as Sec. of Defense Rumsfield did. Remove the dead wieght (politicians) from uniform. Have military men and women run the war. Take the bleeding heart, liberal progressive thinking out of the Beans Bullets and Bandaids.
You want the military to support you. Then prove your worth, not with double talk and inuendo that changes depending on who you are speaking to. But with action not words.
As a military man myself let me tell you this. A leader is one who is not afraid to do the job himself, and will not ask anyone to do something he has not already done or willing to do. Lead, follow, or get out of the way. In your case Barrack, get the hell out of the way.
