This is a tax proposal I think everyone can get behind. The problem with it, and it is a small problem that can be rectified with a small change in wording to include all out of country transfers.

ATLANTA - The Mexican government has denounced bills in Georgia and Arizona that would tack a surcharge on wire transfers from illegal immigrants, instructing its consulates to consider ''legal actions'' should the proposals become law.
The Mexican Foreign Relations Department's statement is the latest the country has lodged against legislation it deems ``discriminatory toward people of Hispanic origin in general, and Mexican nationality in particular.''
(THE MEXICAN GOVERNMENT IS SPINNING THEIR TRUE FEELINGS ON THIS. FACT IN POINT IS THAT OVER 18% OF MEXICOS NATIONAL INCOME COMES FROM THESE WIRE TRANFERES. THE BOTTOM LINE IS THEY SEE A REDUCED AMOUNT OF INCOME FOR THEMSELVES NOW. BY CLAIMING DISCRIMINATORY POLICIES AND TRYING TO PLAY THE RACE CARD THEY HOPE TO DEFEAT THIS PLANNED TAX.)
Georgia's ''Illegal Immigrant Fee Act,'' which the state House passed last month and now goes to the Senate, requires wire-transfer customers to show proof that they are in the U.S. legally or be charged a 5 percent fee on transfers.
In Arizona, the busiest illegal entry point along the southern border, a legislative committee has endorsed a plan that, if approved by voters, would use an 8 percent tax on electronic money transfers to pay for building the border wall.
THERE IS A HUGE BILLION DOLLAR UNDER THE TABLE ECONOMY THAT LEAVES THIS COUNTRY. I ACTUALLY FAVOR THIS TAX AS ITS PURPOSE IS TO FUND SECURING THE BOARDER. ONCE THE FUNDS ARE RAISED FOR THIS PROPOSED WALL THE TAX MONEY SHOULD BE USED TO HELP OFFSET THE FREE RIDE THESE ILLEGALS HAVE BEEN GETTING IN THIS COUNTRY. WITH THE PRICE OF FREE MEDICAL , WELFARE HELP AND SERVICES. SERVICES THAT THE AMERICAN TAX PAYER PAYS FOR BUT IS NOT QUALIFIED TO RECIEVE BECAUSE THEY ARE AMERICAN CITIZENS. THIS TAX MONEY SHOULD GO TO PAY FOR THE BILLS THE ILLEGALS, NOT JUST FROM SOUTH OF THE BOARDER BUT ALL OVER THE WORLD STACK UP HERE. A TAX ON ALL FORIEGN WIRE TRANSFERES SHOULD BE INACTED NATION WIDE.
