Defend Colorado Now alert: attend May immigration panel debates TOMORROW!

Colorado Alliance for Immigration Reform (CAIR) will be hosting a May
Immigration Forum
TOMORROW, Monday May 8, 2006
at the Smoky Hill Library, 5430 S. Biscay Circle, Centennial

A second Forum will be held on Monday, May 15
at the Koelbel Library, 5955 South Holly Street, Centennial

The Arapahoe Library District will co-host these public events from
6:30pm-8:30pm. A panel discussion on immigration-related issues will be
moderated by Mr. Adam Schrager, 9NEWS Legislative Reporter.

Panel members will cover a wide range of local issues, including the
controversial Defend Colorado Now, a proposed state ballot initiative that
would deny local government services to illegal immigrants. Confirmed
panelists include: Fred Elbel, of Defend Colorado Now; Frosty Wooldridge,
immigration activist; Rich Jones, of the Bell Policy Center; James
Johnson, representing Keep Colorado Safe.

Stan Weekes, forum organizer and CAIR spokesman, said, “Immigration is now
the most important issue in the state, and the discussion will be decided
by the voters, educated at these kinds of forums.” The forums are free
and open to the public.

Pre-Registration is requested, but not necessary. Call 303-693-7449 to
register for Smoky Hill; registration for Koelbel is 303-220-7704.
