WOW!! What a movie, and it was just that a movie. A movie based upon a novel. Novel which is short for novelty, meaning entertainment. This is exactly what this movie was. Entertainment at a leval hollywood seems to fall so short of as of late.

Now before all you good catholics get your knickers in a twist, this is only a movie. I do not see where you are so insulted at this theory and not when hollywood makes Jesus gay.

The story is very intrigueing and full of twists and turns, (I have to go read the book now). Several plots within a plot. This is what makes movies entertaining. The acting was very good. All the critisism of Tom Hanks in my opinion is unwarrented as he plays a role much different from past roles. Very well done too.

Many inacuracies do exisits in this story making it not a documentary, or factual in any way. The templers history for one, not close to the truth in their ending. However if you are looking for some good family entertainment and discussion then this is a MUST see for the whole family.

Ron Howard proves himself again as a top notch director.
