Political Substance is missing

It is not even Thanksgivng of 2007 and we have almost completed a year of campaigning by candidates who think they are qualified for the office of President.

Is anyone out there tired and sick of this as much as I am?

I mean they have had how manydebates now and I still have no clue as to what the democrats plan to do about certain issues. They have continued to be handed softball questions on issues and polocies. Yet even with these easy questions they have put forth no real plan or substance on these issues.

Foriegn policy is no more then lets pull out and redeploy world wide. Well sounds good but where are you going to redeploy to? Are they going to get involved in the Genocide in Darfur? A mess that cries out for protection of oppressed people under Islam.

National security ... what do they plan to do about the unsecured boarder. Give licenses to those who break the law. Allow free and unimpedded entry into this country by any one who wants it. Building the walls back up between the differnet governemnt agencies that are supposed to protect us. What are their plans to do with those we know are triung to kill and harm Americans. Close gitmo, then what?

Health care ... socialise medicine. Ok but how will they pay for it? How will they continue to please those who are the real problem with health care. The insurance companies. How will they play a role in this free medical system? How much will we have to pay in taxes and then to to these companies as well?

Voter fraud? What are thier plans to helpo stimy this. Allowing ILLEGALS a way to vote? This isn't leadership it is pandering.

Now the democrats are not the only ones who lack substance in thier talk. The Republicans are just as bad but do offer a little substance for thier selling out of this country.

So far all the debates have done is show the voter what a mess we have made of oour government. By allowing certain officials a pass on getting a real job, (meaning that all they know is being in congress and are totally out of touch with thier constituents).

The election is now 364 days away and still not one single candidate has come forth with any substance to thier claims of being qualified for office.

It is time NOW, for voters to demand substance and not platitudes.
