Indictments .. Racial appeal????
An update on the Duke Lacrosse team under investigation of the aledged rape by white members of a black stripper. Well if there is some evidance the D.A. is holding their cards very close to the chest.
With what most claim as undisputable DNA test came back as negative. What is the evidance that has sealed indictments of several players? This is a big question.
Lets look at what the press has reported.
1) A black female, stripper, was found in a car in the parking lot of a grocery store.
2) The Black police officer that called it in said she appeared to be intoxicated.
3) The victem was given a sexual assault examination from medical proffesionals that say there is evidance of a forced sexual act.
4) The victem lets the police know she was in attendance of a party for Duke Lacrosse team members, she was with another stripper.
5) The second stripper has (note this as I was unawear at time of last posting)come foward and said that the victem appeared to be under the influence of something before the Duke party.
6) A search of the doorm rooms at Duke was conducted. Findings of racial e-mail are noted ....... dispicable in nature but not evidance of rape.
7) DNA samples are given and tests done. Reported that test findings are negative.
Ok now we have the press reports of order of events. To me it looks like the Lacrosse team is innocent. Does this mean that white men were not involved .... no. It means to me that unless the D.A. has been with holding information that the Lacrosse team is being used as a scapegoat in a crime that involves two different races.

Shouldn't we wait for all evidence to come in before leaping to conclusions? A grand jury returned indictments, which implies that a group of people, besides the D.A., found sufficient evidence that a crime occurred.
As for issues of whether a rape may have taken place, I would believe trained medical personnel familiar with performing a rape kit procedure, over a rent-a-cop. Why would a trained medical technician make up evidence?

I fail to see your point. No where did I say that a false medical examination acured.
All I have done is sumed up what I have found reported on this case. To me it seems lacking in evidance.
Note that i did say that the D.A. must have some evidance that he isn't releaseing to the public. I can't wait to see what it is.
Thanks for reading the blog and commenting.
