Massive Double Talk
What a very sad sad sad day in American history. As we face a threat not only from radical Islamofacist, but an invasion from south of the boarder that threatens our way of life as we know it.
The Senate and the current administration is trying to play to both sides of the fence without doing a single thing. The false sense of securing the boarder with the falsehood of putting the National Guard on the boarder, then voting to build at least 370 miles of fence along a 2000 mile boarder. All this is not only insulting but appeasing to foriegn governments who are unfriendly to America.
This plan to put Guardsman on the boarder but not allowing them to enforce the law is ludicrice. It is shamefull and a waste of resources. The Guardsmen will not be secureing anything other then the coffe maker and being gophers for the Mexican Consulates who seem to be running our Boarder Patrol.
With the INS agents who are to to now go to the boarder will never make it. They will be busy training the guardsman in paper shuffle. As soon as the training is complete the guardsman will have done their time and a new group will be sent in to be trained. So with this process going on when will these Agents ever get out to the boarder to enforce THE LAWS? The answer is simple .... they won't.
So far the only thing that looks promiseing from our lack luster government is this 370 miles of fence. At least it is a start.
Senate OKs Border Fence, Backs Citizenship

The Senate endorsed a chance at citizenship for millions of illegal immigrants Wednesday but also voted to build 370 miles of triple- layered fencing along the Mexican border in increasingly emotional debate over election-year immigration legislation.
The Senate had voted 83-16 in favor of construction of the fence and 500 miles of vehicle barriers, the first significant victory in two days for conservatives seeking to place their stamp on the measure.
The developments unfolded in a volatile political environment. The White House struggled for a second day to ease the concerns of House Republicans who contend that Bush favors amnesty for illegal immigrants, and demonstrators massed a few blocks from the Capitol demanding immigrant rights.
Construction of the barrier would send "a signal that open-border days are over. ... Good fences make good neighbors, fences don't make bad neighbors," said Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala. He said border areas where barriers already exist have experienced economic improvement and reduced crime.
NOW IF WE CAN ONLY CONVINCE MEXICO TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIER CORRUPT GOVERNMENT AND THE REAL POWER IN MEXICO THE DRUG LORDS.
