2008, think before you vote

The 2008 election is probly the most historical in our history in my opinion. Why is this so important and historicaly a special election.

Well this is the first election that the candidates are chosen by the press and not the people. Any one who has followdd the nomination process cannot deny that the Republican nominee is clearly not the choice of the conservative movement and they are the main portion of the republican party. John McCain is no conservative. A socialist at worst, a moderate at best, RINO describes this man.

So who chose this man when clearly he was down and out at the start. It was the media that elected John McCain not the populace. When it comes to a conservative candidate Duncan Hunter, Fred Thompson, or Newt Gingrich are conservative. However who got the media attention and who was left to their own in getting the word out?

Now as for the Democrats. Who is tand had been the media darling? It has been from day one Barack Hussien Obama. Not Hillary as we all thought would happen. Barack or B.O. as the blogaspere is calling him. This man has recieved nothing but favorable press, this includes the Jeramy Wright fiasco. It was a real news agency , FOX that brought the Rev. Wright into the spotlight and question the affiliation and support form Obama of this racist. Not untill the blogasphere and conservative talk radio make an even bigger issue of this connection did the MSM even question what racist views were being spread.

Even after wards the main stream is brushing off and trying to protect this racist and ignore the connection to candidate Obama.

However after eight years of a Clinton White House the press now seems more then eager to point out certain indescretions, cover ups, and events that look a little curious in the Hillary candidacy and background. Once a media darling herself, now for her to get more then nice treatment by the press seems but a dream.

Looking over to the McCain side of things. During the primaries early days he was front page stories. Over shadowing all other Republican candidates. Now he is at best a fourth page cover story that is all fluff, or opinion oriented against the "evil republicans". No real coverage of McCain issues, policies other then to spin it as four more years of Bush. Which if you read McCains statments you know is not true.

So who is determining our candidates and what we as constituants see. It is the press and its socialist agenda that leans into communism.

No one has questioned the real source of Obama's campaign funds. The math does not add up to the figures given in contributions under the law. Just a brief "well it came from the internet". So where is this money coming from? Who knows, it is more important that Cindy McCain release her private tax returns. Tax returns that clearly are privat and not public. Tax returns that do not meet any requirment to disclose. For those who think she needs to, I suggest they publish theier tax returns first. I want to see where their money has been going and how they earned it. Their taxes are just as important as Cindy's. For 28 years she has filed seperate from her husband and he her. They may share some of the income but pay taxes seperately like millions of others in this country. Her taxes are not our business.

What about BAracks and Michelle's taxes. A call for hers then needs to placed. Not just the joint filling but a complete accounting of where hers comes from and how she earned it and what she paid on it to include her tax dodges.

No one has really questioned Obama's stament of voteing against the war, when the timeline clearly shows the vote occuring before he was even elected a U.S. Senator. Instead it is billed as war mongering from McCain, the evil republican empire builders, and Hillary Clinton. No questions of why Pelosi voted for it, Reid voted for it, kennedy, ect ect.

No the press only wants us the voter to know of the evil Bush and his mad quest for oil. A huge falsehood in just the speculation of spin.

Why should the voter think this year above all other elections? So much more is at stake in the big picture then ever before. A complete lack of understanding how we are looked at in the world by our actions. It is the socialist in the west that look down at our military might out of jelousy. The middle east has a completely different view. Iran fears us as they should in their play for Persian dominace of Arabs. The far east China, because of the piss pour leadership and handeling of domesrtic economic managment to include enviormental policies that are ruininng their pristine country.

Why do those who worship at the alter of Al Gore not mention that China will not sign the Osaka enviormental debackle? Because China is socialist and they favor socialism.

China is raping the land and forceing its people and others to move and suffer in the quest to move into a first world energy position. The world slargest hydro electric damn has ruined once fertile lands by either drying themout of flooding them. The massive coal burning stations are turning the skies of China into 19th century London smog and smoke. Now round table media discussions about this. However they sure talk about how the evil oil companies are in cahoots with the car manufactures to rape your wallet. Since when is it the responsiblity of a company that is in the oil buisness to undermine itself and develop alternatives to its own product. this is like demanding that the plumber also do the electrical. Makes no sense at all. If the oil companies want to diversify and seek alternatives should it not be their option?

The topic of age and experiance is brought up. Only against John McCain. He is too old and his experiance is the Bush approach. So where is the question "Barack what exactly is your experiance in world affairs? What have you done that shows your experiance in dealing with leaders from other nations?"

In truth haveing lived a privlaged life. Private schools, Ivy league collages,(what real work has Barack ever done) possible white collard jobs. Just what exactly is baracks connection to the working man other then platitudes of hope and change. What does he base his knowledge on. I never saw barack laying asphault, or framing a house. Has he ever driven a truck, plowed snow, or sorted wood in a lumber yard?

Hillary at least has held down a few jobs , be them 40 years ago but a connection never the less. John McCain has his war record and service record to prove he has at least done common work.

What are the qualifications of the cnadidates when it comes to managing this countries economy? Who will advise them. Those who think it takes a village to manage the individuals affairs, or those who think the individual needs to be responsible for their actions.

When it comes to Judges, Barack was with Wolf Blitzer and spoke of judges who interpret the law. Do we want interpretations or do we want those who will NOT legislate from the bench and interpret but enforce the intent of the law equally and fairly across the board?

In dealing with foriegn entities and governments that are hostile to our way of life. Do we want a leader that will sit down and then hug these people. Or do we want a leader that will let these enimies know we will not tolerate thier aggression.

I believe we need and must have a leader that makes our enemies sit back and think things through. One like Reagan who meant what he said and not just pandering lip service to the press corps. Althe while allowing our enimies to not take us seriously.

Voter have got to sit down and really look inside themselves and then look at thoe candidates. Research the positions and figure out who best represents their interests. If we vote on platitudes of change and hope with out knowing what the change is and what we are hoping for then look out. Hope may turn into despair, and change may not be for the better.
