Bill Ritter V.P. candidate?
On the Mike Rosen show, 850 KOA, the blow torch of the rockies, from 0900 to 11:45 monday through friday. An excellent show to listen to. Rosen has the Colorado Govenor on once a month to discuss current issues. Well this time he had Gov. Bill Ritter, or as many call him Gov. Critter.
On the recent show the topic of the V.P. short list was raised. The fact that somewhere a rumor or maybe truth was that Gov. Ritter may have been considered for the Vice President position in an Barack Obamma administration. Well that pipe dream has come to an abrupt end. As Ritter sure put things in perspective with his comments. Although he did not specificlly say Obama does not have enough experiance, he sure implied it with the unintentional comparrison to his own lack of experiance.
As Rosen questioned Ritter about his time in offce and credentials. Ritter responded by saying that 18 months is not enough time to gather experiance enough to be Vice President.
That was probaly the most honest thing he has ever said. Shortly thereafter his comment phone calls were taken. Low and behold a very inquisitive caller asked the Govenor to compare his 18 months to Barack Obamas 146 days of experiance as a U.S. Senator. Does 146 days make for enough experiance to be president?
Well the Govenor being a typical liberal quickly answered with a nonanswer.
Saying the following: "All I can tell ya is I am a fan of Barack Obama’s. Met him in 2004 during his campaign for Senate…You meet him and discover there’s something very different about him. That’s all I’ll say."
The refusal to admit Barack is lacking experiance seems to run rampent among the left. A vote for change just for change is what put this country in trouble in the 70's with the Carter administration. Now the support for Barack Obama and his lack of experiance and knowledge of statesmanship is dangerous.
The Democratic party is hurting. For a politician of Gov. Bill Ritters caliber to even be rumored as a V.P. candidate is enough to prove there are some real leadership and judgement problems going on.
