Initiative 100 Passes

Yet another initative that the voters want enacted but highly doubtful that judicial activism will allow. In the name of political correctness and amnesty I forsee this being deemed as racial and bias. Why? Simple it will force law enforcement to enforce laws on the books and take steps to arrest law breakers.

What is initiative 100? The measure allows police to impound cars driven by illegal immigrants, or by people who are "reasonably suspected" of being illegal immigrants.

It also requires police to seize cars driven by unlicensed drivers. State law bars illegal immigrants from getting licenses.

Now there is where I suspect judicial activism and legislation from Colorados liberal biased judges will strike this down.

Seeing how Colorado law prevents illegals from getting drivers licenses, something Gov.Bill Critter and Denver Mayor Trickenlooper are working desperately hard to change. It is the componet that will be the end of this positive measure.

Colorado has a large population of ILLEGAL ALIENS, oops I mean displaced migrant workers. Those of which drive daily without or with fraudulent licenses. Many are stopped for DUI, and other serious traffic violations. However current policies, not law prevent these law breakers from being apprehended. Instead at DUI enforcement check points these drunk drivers are let go, only to cause accidents minutes later.

Now Colorado law also forbids driving without insurance. Something that is punishable with up to A year in jail. Yet ILLEGALS are often let out of court with only a promise of getting insurance in the near future. While AMerican Citiezens are subject to the law, fined and even sent to jail.

Colorados elected officials do not serve their constituants but those of acrtivists and foriewgn interests. Mainly from south of the boarder. Sen. Ken Salazar, nationally and his relative in the state legislature, along with others (Ritter, Hickenlooper, Udall, Degettsm, ect.) support openly amnesty for law breakers while coming down hard on their constituants for minor transgressions.

Initiative 100 is long over due. It finally gives law enforcement the green light to go after a large segment of the population in Colorado who are being given protection by elected officials. The problem, I am sure will happen is that people like Mayor Hickenmlooper will try to endrun this by coming up with executive positions that halt the enforcement of this. While waiting for judicial activists on the bench to legislate against it.
