Did anyone other then me catch the lies from Pelosi and Reid. After the socalled meeting with President Bush the following press conferance was a farce.

Both pelosi and Runaway Reid came out and lied. Just flat out lied. Reid stood there and said to the camera and all present that the spending bill was and should be about the troops in Iraq. That Iraq is the number one thing on the democrates mind. That this spending bill was for the troops. A nice spin but a LIE!

If the democrates wanted this spending bill to be about the troops and the military in general. Then someone please explain why they bought supporting votes with billions of dollars in pork spending? Pork spending that had absolutely nothing to do with supporting the military at all.

Granted the bill would have been vetoed without the pork. As we do not surrender and runaway. Despite the lies spoken by democratic leaders. If they (democrats) relly want to support the military (wich they do not) they would not be hamstringing the military at every oppertunity.
