Dems to slash Military
We support the troops except when it is time to support the troops. The ralling cry of the Democratic party. Once again the dems let slip more of their true agenda to dismantle and to harm America in their socialist agenda of bowing to the world. An attempt to win favor of foriegn nations who do not like us.

In a meeting with the editorial board of The Standard-Times, Rep. Frank, D-Mass., called for a 25 percent cut in military spending, saying the Pentagon has to start choosing from its many weapons programs, and that upper-income taxpayers are going to see an increase in what they are asked to pay.
Either way you look at it. this takes away from the military. Eliminating research and development decreases effectivness of current systems. This equates to lack of support.
Frank said that if the Democrats can't find an adequate agreement on a stimulus package in the lame-duck Congress, they would rather wait until the new Congress takes over — likely with many more Democrats, if polling results bear fruit in the November voting.
The reason it is lame duck is because there are a few democrats who see that even the socialist agenda does not work. With a majority in the House and Senate they could have pushed the issues and passed them but for lack of leadership could not.
Also, he said, "we'll increase the federal share of medical care so states won't have to lay off people." Unemployment insurance benefits won't increase, he said, but the period of collecting them will, and eligibility requirements might be relaxed.
An increase in time to collect benifits is an increase of benifits. Nice spin Barney but doesn't work. An increase in medicare, who will pay for this? Another tax hike coming our way.
