Elizabeth Edwards thinks we are stupid

Elizabeth Edwards, wife of former Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards and currently a health care advisor to Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign. Thinks that we the voter and average American is too stupid to decide on our health care. That by prioritiseing our needs and values we make “make stupid economics decisions” , when it comes to a health care plan.

Currently a health care advisor to Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign. She is not 100% behind the Democratic nominee’s health care plan. “We're on the verge of an Obama Presidency," said Edwards at George Washington University Monday night, and “I’m not that fond of his plan.” Stating that Sen. Obama, and Sen. McCain , view health care as a commodity, rather than a human right.

She criticises Sen. John McCain's plan. Concluding it fails in all important areas by leaving the decision-making process up to individuals, who can frequently “make stupid economics decisions.”

Well despite her intellect I have news for her. Health care is not a human right. It is a responsibility to ones self and family. To stay healthy for them and make sure that they stay healthy. There is no right to this. None what so ever. Yet the liberal progressive thinking would dictate otherwise. Forcing what they believe and want on others. A fascist state and belief of ideas.

No where in history has there been an edict that states health care is a right of man. Sure there have been COMMON COURTESIES extended to travelers and to those who may stumble to ones door. But there is nothing that has concluded that there is a right to health care.

The fact she thinks that as a responsible adult. We cannot prioritise the necessity of health care and would always choose wrongly as she suggests is wrong. She would dictate to us what our needs are, and our beliefs when it comes to how we take care of ourselves.

Who is she to determine what we need and want? Some one may want cosmetic surgery included in their plan while others not. Will she force it on you or make it unavailable. What about abortion? Is she going to say you will get one or that you are not allowed to get one? What about immunizations? Which ones will she determine are what we require and what ones we can get if we would like?

This is what people are supporting and voting for in a democratic party. We are soooo screwed!
