189 Pardons: 2 short

Well at least it is something right. Even though it is not a pardon it does let out of jail Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean. The two border patrol agents wrongly imprisoned for shooting a drug dealer in the backside as he fled from apprehension by law officers.

They were convicted of shooting admitted drug smuggler Osvaldo Aldrete Davila in the buttocks as he fled across the Rio Grande, away from an abandoned van load of marijuana. The agents were fired after their convictions on several charges, including assault with a dangerous weapon and with serious bodily injury, violation of civil rights and obstruction of justice. All their convictions, except obstruction of justice, were wrongfully and politically correct upheld on appeal.

Unfortunately their sentences will follow them for the rest of their lives. While the drug dealer was allowed to continue bringing his filth into this country unabated by the law.
