Total lack of Respect

For those who earned the TITLE MARINE, the club patch is special. For those who earned thier e-4 and above ranks (thats corporol) it is even more special. Why is this special? Simple. Not everyone can be a MARINE. It is the only title you will ever earn. There is nothing given to you in the Marines. It is simple, you earn it.

When a Marine advances in rank it is do to thier performance and conduct. The Marines have been called old fashioned because of this. Well it makes for the best fighting force in the world. A team effort that in artillery is shoot, move, communicate (12th Marine motto).

The ranks of the noncoms is even more special. They are the backbone of the Corps. Thier uniform, especially the dress blues denotes historical heroism by these ranks. Those ranks are Sgt, and Corporol. On the dress blues you will notice a red stripe going down the trouser leg. This is called the blood stripe. It represents a battle that Marines distingused themselves in. The battle in the halls of Montezuma. A battle that noncoms exemplified thier dicipline and integrity in. (for more info on this read about the Mexican American war, Treaty of Hildago Guadelupe, and Marine Corps History).

I point this all out as a half hearted p.c apology was made by emmy-nominated choreographer Mia Michaels. This sorry excuse came after she went on national television, as a judge from the Fox network show, “So, You Think You Can Dance?”. She wore a dress blue blouse, with corporol chevrons upside down on the sleeves. This is a MAJOR INSULT to all who EARNED this rank and TITLE.

Her excuse, she had "no idea that anyone would be offended by it", she says. She simply thought she was being fashionable by wearing a navy blue military jacket that happened to have a Marine emblem, upside down, on the sleeves. Yeah right, my %$#.

It just so happened that this night the dance routine just happened to be themed antiwar as well. Dance’s other Emmy-nominated choreographer, Wade Robson, presented
10 identical solo dances around an antiwar theme. Set to the music of John Mayer’s “Waiting on the World to Change,” the dancers wore peace symbols and printed slogans.

Is this coincidense? NOPE. It was planned. Was she awear of her insult? Maybe , maybe not. Does it change what she did? NOT IN THE LEAST. DO I accept her apology? Hell no. I am tired of this lame excuse of "I did not know it was insulting. I support the troops but not the war," crap. These anti war zelots insult all military personal any time they can. But oy, God forbid you say something or do something that may offend them. Then you never hear the end of it. How your transgressions are unexcusable.

For those who may respond and claim to be former or present Marines saying oh she is just expressing her opinion. I ask you to think back to 13 weeks on Parris Island or at MCRD SanDiego. Then the ceremony, and tradition of being pinned with the blood stripe by your fellow non coms. How you stood there after wards.

A TITLE EARNED NEVER GIVEN, SEMPER FI!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Churchill gets FIRED

WHOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! The truth prevails. Justice in a minor form comes to the forefront. Lies do get called onto the table. The Board of Regents does the RIGHT thing and concludes with the truth that Ward Churchill is a liar , thief, and all around not worthy of maintaning his status as a proffesor at the University of Colorado.

This unfortunately will not be the end of the story. Even though this putz was justly fired (way over do), Ward is going to sue the University.

Churchill fired; next shot in court
Prof loses battle with CU but says war far from over.

http://www.rockymountainnews.com/drmn/local/article/0,1299,DRMN_15_5643994,00.html

By Berny Morson, Rocky Mountain News
July 25, 2007
BOULDER - The first, very long chapter of the Ward Churchill saga ended Tuesday afternoon as just about everybody - including Churchill - had predicted: He was fired from his job as ethnic studies professor at the University of Colorado.
The next chapter is set to begin today, when the controversial academic and his civil rights attorney, David Lane, sue the university in Denver District Court.

Churchill warned that his dismissal is the beginning of a wider attack on scholars with unpopular political views.

"If you think I'm the endgame, you're wrong," Churchill told supporters. "This is the kickoff."

He raised his fist and smiled defiantly when the school's Board of Regents voted 8-1 in public, following three hours of private discussions, to fire him.

The ruling was greeted with boos and the beating of drums by about 100 supporters - including American Indian Movement leader Russell Means - standing in the back of the meeting room.

CU President Hank Brown had earlier recommended the dismissal. In the end, there really wasn't much choice, Brown said.

Churchill "falsified history and fabricated history."

Furthermore, Churchill "did not express regret, apologize or agree to refrain from this behavior in the future," Brown said.

Some 25 faculty members on three committees had looked at the evidence against Churchill and found truth in the allegations that he violated academic conduct standards, said Pat Hayes, regents chairwoman.

"That's very persuasive," she said.

Churchill accused officials of orchestrating an "illusion of scholarly research" to justify his firing.

"That's a farce, but more than that, it's a fraud."

Regent Cindy Carlisle, who cast the dissenting vote, said she thought firing was too tough a penalty. She agreed with the Privilege and Tenure Committee's 3-2 vote in May to suspend Churchill for a year without pay.

[NOTE] How funny that Cindy Carlisle think thats lieing and manufacturing revised history and socalled documents. Plageriseing other Proffesors is not serious enough to warrent fireing. Lets look at what Ward has done.

1) He has CHEATED his present and former students out of an education.

2) He has opened up the University for massie lawsuits on not providing a real education to the students.

3) Ward has taken his personal adgenda and used the Univeristy to promote it. Abuseing the trust of his fellow proffesors and staff.

These are just the top of the list. Maybe we need to lok into Carlisles background and see just what exactly her credentials are.

Russian support for Islamists

More evidance of certain Russian factions supporting Islamofacists in Solmalia. From the Counter Terrorism Blog.

Bout's Planes Still At It
By Douglas Farah

The Times of London has just outed another aircraft tied to Viktor Bout by U.N. reports, to arming Islamist radicals in the Horn of Africa.

The undercover sting operation by the newspaper found that a Russian, Alexander Radionov, whose Antonov 8 aircraft in Sharjah was already identified as a Bout aircraft, was willing to fly a load of weapons to the Islamic Court Union forces in Somalia, even though Somalia is still under a U.N. arms embargo.

It is worth remembering that the ICU is the radical Islamist organization that was imposing _sharia_ law in Somalia before being driven out last December by Ethiopian troops, who acted with the support of the United States.

Not only does the embargo exist on paper, but the journalist posing as an arms purchaser specifically stated the flights would not be declared, and that they would be dropped in an area clearly controlled by the Islamists.

As the Times noted, "The offer to hire out an aircraft and provide parachutes for the mission to Somalia, which is under a United Nations arms embargo, demonstrates how easy it is to flout the efforts of western governments to stop illegal arms trafficking."

Churchill to face the music

The moment of truth comes today. Today is the day that the Board of Regents of C.U. decide to keep him or fire him.

The charges:

1) Fabrication, falsely accuse the U.S. Army of using smallpox as a weapon of genocide against American Indians
2) Plagiarism, Churchill commits plagiarism by publishing the work of others as his own.
3) Mischaracterizatin of two important pieces of federal Indian law. The Dawes Act of 1887 and the Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990.
4) Misrepresentation of his American Indian ancestry.

All of these Ward Churchill either lied about or twisted to suit his own adgenda. Now he faces dismissal. However the ACLU (American Communist Liberation Unit)threatens to come to his defense. This should indicate Wards guilt right off the bat. The question is simple. Will the Board of Regents do the right thing and fire this fraud, or will they cave to the extremists and their scewed interrpretation of things.

The assault on the middle class begins

The assault on the middle class begins with the raising of the minum wage. Poverty and the minimum wage are becoming a major issue in the Democratic presidential race. As a plan to redistribute wealth goes into effect. With false hoods and lies about more income, John Edwards and Barack Obama are emphasizing raising the minimum wage during their tours of impoverished areas.

Edwards, who said he wants to eliminate poverty within a generation, favors raising the minimum wage to $9.50. But he still hires workers on the low end of the pay scale. Obama is advocating a “living wage” that would go up as inflation rises and he has promised to eliminate the phrase “working poor.” Another euphamism to make people feel good.

The first increase in the federal minimum wage in a decade has come. Yet many acknowledge that raising it from $5.15 an hour to $5.85 is just the start. Minimum wage workers will get an additional 70-cent boost each summer for the next two years, ending in 2009 at $7.25 an hour. That comes to just above $15,000 yearly before taxes for a 52-week work year.

What is not factored in is the expense to small buisness the increase causes. How the layoff or non hireing and increase in work load to other employees will be increased as these small companies cannot afford to hire more people or keep as many on the payroll.

According to the National Restaurant Association, the last minimum wage increase cost the restaurant industry more than 146,000 jobs and restaurant owners put off plans to hire an additional 106,000 employees.

At $7.25 an hour, the most likely response from restaurants will be “increases in menu prices, elimination of some positions and reduction of staff hours to try and offset some of the increased labor costs,” said Brendan Flanagan, the association’s vice president of federal relations.

Even then when the full increase is enacted, minimum wage workers will be just scraping by. “It’s not enough money to meet your basic needs, I’m talking about your rent, your gas, and gas to get back and forth to work,” said Sonya Murphy, head organizer of the Mississippi Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN. Of course she tugs at the heart strings to make you believe only the poor will suffer, and not the families who are busting tail to get ahead.

What is being forgotten here is that most minimum wage jobs are entry level, or skilless jobs. Trying to include those jobs that are set below minimum wage like wait staff who make or break a living on thier tips (to insure performance) is fraudualant at the least. Many summer jobs are minimum wage and those who seek these jobs (before illegals take them) are students from collage and high schools. These are to earn a little spending cash for the school year. I myself held several. From working in a lumber yard , to landscaping.

What is being portrayed as a great aid to the lower class is soooo misleading. It is a socialist plan to redistribute wealth. The fact things will now become more expensive is left out of the equation. Meaning that those working for minimum wage will still be stuck behind the eight ball. The real tradgedy of this is that those who are middle class will not see any increase in earnings but a decrease as prices and inflation will take a terrible toll on them. House holds that are considered middle income will be under the crunch as family night will go away. Movie tickets that are ridiculasly high now will go higher. Dinners out will become even more scarce. Then the real big kicker is that spam sandwiches will become envouge again. All in the name of trying to save money and get ahead.

The assault on the middle class begins.

New Clothes for the Emporer

Monday at Mister Neat's tuxedo shop in Northglenn, a man walked in the door and said he needed a tuxedo. This man was Aaron R. Snyder, 32. Sweating profusely, he was nervous and jittery as the employee took his measurements. Tobie Locke, a female employee at Mr. Neat's Formal Wear in Northglenn, filed a police report about Snyder after he left. Saying he was carrying a gun in a holster and a knife in his pocket.
Of coarse all Emporer's carry such equipment.

Aaron Snyder of Thornton walked into the governor’s office with a gun, yelling "I am the emperor. I am here to take over state government." Snyder was the valedictorian of Horizon High School's Class of 1992. Perhaps a little overcome with a supirority complex, something we find historically runs in royalty.

"I understand that when you have an issue like this there's always a discussion about security," Ritter said. "We've always said this is the people's building.

"We will do what we can to have that discussion to achieve that balance between openness and security. This is a safe building. There's a lot of security inside this building," Ritter said. "I encourage people to keep coming. It's their building."

Metal detectors were installed at the Capitol after the 9/11 attacks but lawmakers later had them removed.

The Capitol usuallly does not have metal detectors at its entrances, and the public is able to come and go without security checks. Only one entrance will be open Tuesday it will have a metal detector.

I just wonder if the would be emporer knew how much it is going to cost his subjects now for phyciatric visits.

At least he looked good in his new clothes.

Colorados Emporer

Well excitment hits the cowtown in more ways then one. Wonder which desk Mayor Hic-looper would be cowering under if it was only the Duke of Denver that came calling today.

Listening to KNUS 710 news reporter and morning drive news person Nia Bender reported from the state Capitol today that Govenor Ritter was huddled under his desk as state patrolman killed an armed intruder. The armed intruder dressed in a suit decided that it was time to make his first and only appearance as the State Emporer today.

Wielding a gun in the state capitol and announceing his plan to take charge of the government was his failing. State troopers, the security for the Capitol were called to remove him as a panic button was hit by one of the secretaries in the Capitol.

Refuseing to drop his weapon the state patrol was left with no alternative but to shoot him. Now this is how you handle gun wielding perps. Saved the state the cost of a trial and incarciration. Kudos to the state patrol on this.

In an effort to make himself look more authoritive. Govenor Rotter tried to play the event off as not so panic filled. In the Gov's defense I have no doubt that he was huddled under his desk (more like cowering). However I am sure that he was told to seek cover there in case of such an event. I am sure his desk is a thick hard wood. One that wood make good cover in case someone was shooting at him.

The questions remain as to who this guy was and what was he thinking. These details are sure to be released soon. I just wonder was he a Republican or a Democrat.

Abuse the first Admendment ... its cool

Since when has it become okay in the name of the first admendment to abuse it. Sure yoiu have the right to speak out for or against something. The freedom to express your opinion be it right or wrong it is an opinion. However when has it become okay to be disrespectful, arrogant , and abuse something all in the name of free speach.
With the way things are going I should be able to stand and yell fire in a movie theatre without consequence. All in the name of free speech.

On April 24, the HOA in WHEAT RIDGE Colorado at Cambridge Park. The homeowners association announced Friday it will not penalize resident Beth Hammer for flying an American flag upside down. The HOA sent the couple a letter, saying they had violated the association's rules and regulations. It asked that the couple comply within seven days or risk a fine.

Well no fine, no change of disrespect. As a matter of fact the HOA caved on the issue claiming it would be a coastly fight and would not benifiet anyone. Although Beth Hammers husband sits on the home owner association. Was the secretsary treasure may or may not have played into this (yeah right). The American Flag still flies upside down outside the HAmmers home.

What does the flying of the American flag upside down mean? It is an old signal that shows distress, inneed of help or aid. It has never nor should it stand for any political opinion for or against a topic. In this case the Iraqi war.

In American history when a flag was flown upside down it meant that there was trouble, a unit needs help IMMEDIATELY! I can not find with an ask.com, or a google search of an historical event where the flag was flown upside down to express an opinion.

I fiond the HOA contemptable and disgusting in thier lack of action. The Hammers, well they have the right to speak out against the war, the administration, and express thier beliefs. However the disrespect and lack of knowledge on the subject of flag care and display makes me sick. It is this lack of respect and courtesy to the symbol of freedom that is world wide recogniseable as a sign of hope.

My statment to the Hammers is this: You enjoy the rights granted under the Constitution, then twist them to suit your political opinion. It is people like you that many brave man has died for and your lack of repsect to the symbol they loved is disgustiing. I am thankful you do not live in my nieghborhood.

Correction: But you missed the point

My last blog entree I said Bush had no pardons or commutations. This is not so. I could care less how many he has already delt out. An Anonymous commentor went to the trouble to look it up and post it. Thankyou for your time and research.

The point of my last blog be it Clinton, Reagon, Carter, Truman , Grant, which ever former or new President it is. The point of the comparrison is this.

All Presidents can and more then likely will give pardons and commutations of sentences. Many to the displeasure of the victems and or public opinion. It is part of the office. There is no congressional oversight. No public poll, or conspirocy to come to the decision of who gets what. What it is is a Constitutional right that what ever sitting President is granted under the Constitution.

Ford pardoned Nixon, Clinton let terrorst out of jail, and Bush has commuted Scooters sentance.

If you take the time to read these. You find many that were arrested and pardon for making false staments to officials. HMMMM, making a false stament and perjury? One and the same, no.

Lets face it the artical 2 section 2 gives the presidnet power without congressional oversight on any and all pardons and commutations of sentanceing on anyone in this country. He can at his leisure and pleasure grant such a gift. Yes a gift to some of those who should be behind bars still.

All the false indignation by the left is a show, scam, and unjustified and unwarrented. The call to impeach over this is not just assine but unConstitutional.

Know your Constitution before you run you mouth libs.

We upset Mexico, ahhh schucks.

With the American people making thier voice heard over the elite washingtonians. Poor Mexico and the open boarder crowd cry foul.

Mexican President P.Calderon openly admits he will not try tostem the tide of sending his citizens ILLEGALLY across the soverign boarder of the United States of America.

Mayor Villiangrossa (Villagarosa) calls the voice of the American people absurd and bigoted. Only because his plans of overthrowning the Constitution have been set back.

Many other open boarder and reconquista advocates claim that the real voice of America was stiffled in this vote by a frindge element of right wing bigots. Again a false claim made by a squeeky wheel that is not getting its way.

The American people must continue to let thier voice be heard over these invader sympathisers and protect this countries soveriegn right to exisit. A country that is not corrupted by criminal laden politicians like those in Mexico and Las Angelas. The rift raft in Washington has got to go. Vote these antiAmericans out and vote for the rule of law.

More Terror In England

As most who pay attention heard. Saturday around 1100 in the morning MST. The airport in Glasgow was attack by more (peaceful) Terorists. This time driving a burning SUV into the mainterminal.

Scottland Yard has made several arrests. They have two in custody and a huge crack down and search s on for more islamic fundamentalist who are terrorist suspects.

The investigation is being tightly kept with few more details coming out. However the usual experts are all lineing up and giving thier opinion on the topic. But few are talking about how the Mayor of London has called for supporting the local Muslims and calling them law biding citizens that are better behaved then nonmuslims in London.

This is a definate act of KOWTOWing to extremists. Though are thoughts and prayers go out to all of her Majesties subjects. One can only hope that their law enforcement is not being hampered by civilian oversight committies. Committies that hinder the investigations and arrest of these want-a-be murderers
