Obama does not understand
Sen. Obama just does not understand. His complete ignorance (I should say stupidity, but will give him the benefiet of the doubt his ivy school ejumacation failed to teach him history, as well as economics 101), of things is just amazing. Even more amazing are those who listen to his misrepresentation of things is even more astonishing.
Lets look at the ignorance of his history statements of today. Barack implies that JFK used diplomacy to deal with the October crisis/Cuban missles. How wrong is this. Barack needs to watch the history channel a little more. Even this left leaning cable channel has documented that it was closed door meetings with the threat of nuclear obliteration from both sides that stopped the cuban missles from being deployed. Not some love fest of coffee and cake.
John F. Kennedy had some serious thinking to do over the missles being deployed in Cuba. His response was one that brought the world closer to nuclear war then anything before or since. he called the Russian Ambassador in and let him know that the United States would respond with nuclear weapons. No questions asked ansd gave him a deadline. There was no mamby pamby discussion. No meetings of lets bargin and what can we give you to remove the missles. The russians were notified that Nuclear missles in Cuba were unacceptable.
The Baracks lack of understanding the cold war is amazing. Reagan also did not sit down and make offers. Ronald Reagan spent the Soviet Union into bankruptcy. His deployment of Persian Missles in Europe scared the Soviets. A build up of over 600 hundred ships in a state of the art Navy. These are what forced the soviets into looseing the cold war. Not over the table deplomacy.
Barck Obama has no concept of the truth in world affairs if this is his version of altered leftist history. There are several undeniable truths that exisit in this world. Taxes, Death and diplomacy that works only if the threat of war is real. Barrack and the Democratic party do not have the nerve to play the game. They are all bluff. When it is time to lay the cards on the table they have nothing.
In order to have a foieng policy that is effective one must be able to back up their end through force. This is human nature. DONT MESS WITH THE BIG KID ON THE BLOCK.
Baracks economis plan is a typical liberal solution for every thing. Tax and spend. The rich do not pay enough. Well then close the tax loopholes that he and his wife enjoy. If the y feel they do not pay enough there is a box to check which allows the government to hang onto any return. CHECK THE DAMN BOX, but leave my wallet alone. Being for a stimulas package, and support of a bail out for those who are irresponsible in their finacial decisions is not a move foward economic plan. It sets the standard for more bad investing and living beyond ones means. With the expectation and support of others to bail one out every time something goes wrong.
