Big Brother wants to tax you
If this does not smack of big brother and open the door to more oppressive dictates from the government then what does?
In Oregon , not the first state to propose this either. They want to put a satellite tracking on your vehicle in order to determine a tax for you to pay for driving. The more you drive the more you pay. Now this will nail those who do have to drive for a living. Trucking companies that deal on a local basis. Couriers that do cross town hustles in order to get documents to someone in time. But what about those state and local government vehicles? Will they be tax exempt? More then likely.
