What happened to Boarder security?
In all the debates and press conferences the candidates have had since the conventions. How come the topic of ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION and boarder security has disappeared. It would appear that this is no longer a concern for the political process.
But far be it from the truth those of us who are concerned with the ongoing invasion now that it is a HOT topic still. Did you know that recently the American consulate was attacked?
Associated Press Mexican official: Gunmen fire at U.S. consulate Monterrey, NL, Mex. -- Assailants opened fire on the U.S. consulate in the northern Mexican city of Monterrey, a Mexican official said. -- Nobody was injured in Sunday's shooting. Shell casings were found outside the consulate, but there were no witnesses to the attack and no one was in custody...
Where is the government on this. Why is there no major outrage on this? This is just as news worthy as if another camel jockey had driven a car laden with explosives into the Embassy in Pakistan. (camel jockey not p.c.? If you ride a camel and smell like one then you are a camel jockey.)
Some good news however on the southern front. It would seem that appealing to the green first crowd may get some more wanted attention to this problem.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., has got her eye on the problem , sort of. Instead of asking who and why we are being invaded she has inquired about the pollution problems. The pollution problems associated with the drug cartels and their meth labs and marijuana farms. A concern of the trash they are leaving in OUR National Forrest's. Maybe she will demand they take biodegradable trash bags with them as they pollute and invade this country.
Lets look at the facts. Drug Cartels from Mexico are not only peddling their trash here, but are using the national Forrest's as cover for this. They are also getting into the human trafficking aspect of things. Not in a pleasant way either. The murder rate along the boarder is sky rocketing. With over 5000 murders since 2005, a number that exceeds the war effort in a shorter time, (hows that bleeding heart, anti war schmucks, where is the outrage on this?). But it is cold blooded execution style murder.
The Mexican government is in a failing war against these thugs. They are out numbered and out gunned. This war is spilling over the boarder in the body count and is effecting American Citizens along the boarder.
At the next debate, wouldn't it be nice if the moderator would ask what the candidates plan to do about all this. Instead we will get more softball questions on how they feel and what is their favorite color.
The MSM is by design ignoring coverage of the boarder security problem. As long as they do not cover it and ask the candidates about it. There fore it does not exists.
