In the world of Obama it appears that only those who President Bush and his administration deemed as enemy combatants are worthy of equal protection under the Constitution. The Obamanation is seeking to deny Afghanistan prisoners the same rights that the Gitmo prisoners are supposedly to receive.

Friday The Obama administration moved forward to appeal a district court ruling . This ruling granted some Afghanistan prisoners the right to file lawsuits in order to seek their release. This current Obama administration wants to play it their way and use the common sense approach to deny these prisoners a release until they are certain of their status. Sound familiar? It should, because it is the same policy President Bush's administration used on all war prisoners. The policy of keeping prisoners for extend periods of time without civilian judicial oversight.

The hypocrisy is amazing from the left on this. As they support Obama but condemned Bush on the very same principle.
