Colorado Legisltaure Endrun
A little known bill is sitting on Gov. Bill (I am for Unions and ILLEGAL ALIENS) Ritters desk. This bill is S.B.200.
Why is this an end run. Simple the people of Colorado have voted several times distinctly and clear that they do not want gay marriages legalized. So what do the Democratic controled liberal progresive elected do nothing officials do./ They concoct a bill as follows:
Introduced by Sen. Jennifer Veiga and Rep. Joel Judd, SB 08-200 will expand language prohibiting discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, including transgender status, in housing practices, public accommodation, eligibility for jury service, availability of family planning services, as well as many other areas. This is a chance to update the current laws in order to have consistency and predictability in the way Colorado's anti-discrimination laws are applied. It will also add sex, marital status, disability, age, national origin, ancestry and religion as needed. We must be sure to have protections not only against blatant acts of discrimination that occur, but also against the subtle discrimination that remains so pervasive

Notice that key words and phrases are inserted that will force state law to be changed and found unConstitutional. "a chance to update laws" is the most important one. As this law will give same sex marriges the same footing as a normal marriage. By protecting it under discrimination laws.
The sicker part of this bill is that it would allow transgender oriented people to use public rerstrooms of the sex they pretend to be. So a man may use a womans bathroom. If it is in a public building it would be fair game. opening the door literally to child molestors. Those perverts who think girls and boys under the age of consent are up for grabs access to them. A claim being aired by a Colorado Springs Christian group.
Thier (Christian) point of view does make one think. Either way you look at it it is just more evidance of elected progressives ignoreing the will of the people and passing their agenda over the people.
Sen. Jennifer Veiga and Rep. Joel Judd, are the two who started and proposed this bill. All the blame is not theirs as the state senate and legislature passed it. All that remains is for the Govenor to sign this. With his past record of contempt for the citizens of Colorado chances are it will be law soon.
